I think the 1080p will not look soo good at that big of a screen. They need to add more pixels than 1080 to take advantage of that 75" screen. Its like back then when you had a big 30" flat screen crt tv, it was at 480p, so all it did is make the image more blurrier.

@outernettboy You need active shutter glasses, not the polarized ones they use in the movie theaters. As far as I know, at the moment LG is one of the only manufactures with passive 3D technology. You can use the polarized ones on the LG 3D LED backlit' sets.

So yes, you do need to buy the samsung ones.

Secondly I am after a HUGE LED TV, I still am using my 10 year old 70 inch rear projection TV that has no HD, digital, or 3D, however I'm making do with my set top box. I have been waiting for 2 years, since hearing about 3D TV, as I love 3D TV and it's vital to have a big TV, especially when watching in 3D. I have a 50 foot by 34 foot room, this is why rear projection TV works well in this room. I wont get a LED TV under 75" LED r so clear.
