Absolutely gorgeous IMO but Alfa does or used to have a problem with quality and reliability along with Fiat..I cant gauge what size is it? Vw golf size?
Alfa may not be the most reliable car in the world but until you own one you will never know what it is about Alfa that gets into your soul, A true drivers car...
I don't prefer 'bland', just good taste. For example the new Ford fiesta is hardly bland but it's also a stylistic tour de force; from every angle it's a success.
the fiesta is out of proportion, it's back end is too high and it's arches too big around the wheels. but i'll agree the mito is love or hate styling, i love it personally.

Silnik wystarczający, ma bardzo dobre przyśpieszenie, moment obrotowy i niezłą elastyczność.. Sprzęgło bardzo miękkie i moment "brania" wymaga wyczucia i przyzwyczajenia ale jest w porządku:) zużycie w mieście no cóż... ok 12l przy średnio sportowej jeździe wg komputera... mimo to wiosną trafi do mojego garażu:D
I have now driven the Mito 1.4 155hp and the Scirocco 1.4 160hp (in Portugal they cost practically the same and I was in doubt about which one I would buy). The Mito is good, but the Scirocco is in another league. For the same money (€1.500 difference...), there are no second thoughts. The suspension (DCC), the steering, the engine, the interior quality, the rear seats space and the gearbox are a lot better in the Scirocco. The whole VW feels more premium.
And it probably will hold it's value much better. However as a second hand car I believe the MiTo may be an awesome choice considering the very steep depreciation on Alfa's. Great report, I'll try and do my own comparison when they launch the MiTo here. There is something about an Alfa, some weird feeling they manage to build into their cars. They're bonkers and break alot but you still love them.

My wife never liked alfa because of its testoserone. Yet I love Alfa Romeo. Now with the Mito she kind of likes the Alfa and Im starting to hate it! Where are the Men who would drive this Gay Ass car. I hate it. Ill keep My 164 Quadrifoglio befor I drive any of the Clown Cars that Alfa is making today. However I would love the 8C. Ye Id hate to be that guy in the 8C at a red light next to the gay guy in the Mito and we both thing we have a prestigous car.
The front is just awful... The interior looks cheap too... but really love the rear view and the twin exhaust pipes. I don't know... a so and so car, they could have made it look much better, considering the old Alfas of the past were really gorgeous... They could have take some ideas from them.
to think that this came from the 8c competezionne.... it just another average car from italia(not the 8c) its a bit dull looking if you ask me, like this design has been done before, i think im referring to the old fiat bravo... i dunno..

alfas have always been very nice looking cars like the 159 and the 8c i love em even tho they breakdown as soon as you buy one like but he ho u can still enjoy it at the side of the road
3 years with a 156 GTA and it has never let me down. Don't believe the BMW loving press, alfas are a lot better than they used to be and as reliable as any other car. The only bad things is there are still some shoddy dealers out there.
hmmm so this seems like a very good buy now alfas have improved the gta howfast is it i know the autodelta 147 gta thats manic how many horses does it have?
THe rear-end looks better than the front, yes. But it's more about the handling, the driving experience with Alfas than the looks. Who owns Alfa now, by the way? Literally owns them, I mean? Before the quality used to be not very good on Alfas, but that has probably changed now if some big company has taken over?

My wife never liked alfa because of its testoserone. Yet I love Alfa Romeo. Now with the Mito she kind of likes the Alfa and Im starting to hate it! Where are the Men who would drive this Gay Ass car. I hate it. Ill keep My 164 Quadrifoglio befor I drive any of the Clown Cars that Alfa is making today. However I would love the 8C. Ye Id hate to be that guy in the 8C at a red light next to the gay guy in the Mito and we both thing we have a prestigous car.

The front is just awful... The interior looks cheap too... but really love the rear view and the twin exhaust pipes. I don't know... a so and so car, they could have made it look much better, considering the old Alfas of the past were really gorgeous... They could have take some ideas from them.

3 years with a 156 GTA and it has never let me down. Don't believe the BMW loving press, alfas are a lot better than they used to be and as reliable as any other car. The only bad things is there are still some shoddy dealers out there.

THe rear-end looks better than the front, yes. But it's more about the handling, the driving experience with Alfas than the looks. Who owns Alfa now, by the way? Literally owns them, I mean? Before the quality used to be not very good on Alfas, but that has probably changed now if some big company has taken over?
