Being old school, I am not too thrilled about how her sex appeal is overclocked, especially since I was going to let my 2 year old son watch it. I do see a few traits of the '80's Cheetara that does appeal to me: 1) supportive and 2) being the voice of reason. It would be cool if the producers would work in the maternal aspect that she had for the thunderkittens as in the old show. But with her made at least 10 years younger here, the supportive, loving, big sister appeal would be great.
@mikejada1 You let your 2 year old watch CN and you complain about thundercats? There are much worse shows on that channel than this. CN is for older kids to teenagers. Not toddlers. Also you can't really fault them for putting some sex appeal in an anime when that is one of the focuses of an anime especially when the target audience is young boys/men. Heck, I can't even think of a similar show that doesn't have at least one female character than isn't sexy.

Then hearing and seeing that "reboot" means to practically redesign the characters and rewriting the story, it was like "omg." BUT I do love how they take issues of life to a deeper level. As for my son, tried to let him watch this and it doesn't hold his interest. So, out comes the o.s. for him. BTW no C.N. here. Just rabbit ears.
