  • No Opie, it's not "play Misty" , the song is a romantic jazz classic ballad called "Misty".

Sometimes these guys betray a real cluelessness.

  • Pomes

  • Love O&A but, ur a little out of ur league &misinformed here, guys. "PMFM" was in theatres, and it was moderately sucessful enough to keep Eastwoods career afloat until being offered the role of 'Dirty Harry' in1971. In one street-level shot in "DH", u can actually see "PMFM" up on a movie marquee. Love/hate Clint's movies/directing all you want. And ya, he was pretty corny in "PMFM". But he wasnt the WORST DJ Ive ever heard. I hear guys on the radio TODAY that are WAY WORSE. Oh well, carry on.

  • This was a hit movie not a TV movie and was actually filmed at KRML which was a very small FM station at the time and only a guy with a Jag would have had an FM in his car at that time, My friend was the PD at the time at KRML and what they paid would not have been enough to rent that car let alone a maid and a home over the ocean-Please-great movie though--the maid did not die in the move-these guys are not to sharp.

  • lol, bunch of faggot Cunt Eastwood fangirls getting their panties in a bunch over a couple of DJs.

  • THESE JOCKS ARE CLUELESS!

  • Eastwood practically invented the concept of Radio and the 'Quiet Storm' music from this film.

Of course, the only way these DJ's can make any money is to completely imitate Howard Stern's show.............how pioneering of them.............what goofs.

  • @beaconmike "imitate Howard's show"....by what, having an annoying black women carry the show?

  • Let's face it; you two are absolute unknowns and Clint Eastwood is a legend. 'Play 'Misty' for me' was the first 'crazy stalker' movie and is still a brilliant piece of writing and directing. It'll be around long after you two braindead dimwits return to the total obscurity you so richly deserve.

'Killed a black woman to death'? You morons! (4.52)

  • "Misty" is important from a cinematic standpoint because it's the first time you see Eastwood's bag.

  • @johnclavis - Who is Opie & Anthony? What idots! They have no idea about life. Boy cut them!

  • lol, these guys are normally glorified in the comment sections.

Now they went and fucked with clint....NO!!!!

  • Those guyz are lame morning Jocks! Who cares? Like they are any good? I would rather listen to the Love Doctors. Now they are funny. Clint did some bad ass movies and in the 70's, this was high tech, people were not immune to horror as we are now.

  • @celticwitan What does cock taste like?

  • These 2 guys have no class at all!Great movie.I would like to see these 2 act.

  • i really like O&A, but HOW DARE THEY BEGAN TO INSULT ANYTHING BY CLINT EASTWOOD

  • bunch of fuckwits that are nothing compared to clint.

  • God, it's fun to see the zombies get their panties in a twist when O&A trash him.

  • Lemme get this straight; These two douche bags that play bumdarts with each other are making fun of....Clint Eastwood? He probably fucked their moms. and made their daddy's watch.

  • STUPID!!! Howard was right about these losers...

  • These idiots are lame. No T.V Movie. Play Misty For Me. What a bunch of lame asses. I'd rather hear Clint Eastwood as A D.J, then Dopie And Tony. Frickin smart- asses.

  • The name of the song was/is "Misty" dickheads, not "Play Misty" and the movie was a 1971 major motion picture--Eastwood's first as director--not a TV movie. If you're gonna take shots at something at least bother to know what you're talking about first.

  • LOL....this was NOT a TV movie

  • I love this movie.

  • Poor fucking retards Clint Eastwood is a legend you retards are nobodys.

  • Wasnt a tv movie you dumb retards.

  • This is hands down one of the funniest things I have ever heard!! Ants Eastwood "hoo-hoo's"

    Can't Get Enough!!!

  • The first TV movie was "Pied Piper of Hameline with Van Johnson in 1957. "Misty" was not a TV movie even thought both Eastwood and Jessica Walters did lots of TV work. Clint sounds better then these radio nuts.

  • Not a TV movie! What a ding dong!

  • This was the first 'TV Movie'.

  • Who fucking cares what kind of release it was? Does that little error make everything they pointed out about it and joked about wrong? No,it doesn't,so stop being a hyper-literal troll.

  • All of what you said amounts to basically nothing."Oh my God they said it was one thing but it's actually something else!"....Christ.The point I was trying to make is that only a troll like you would focus on something so insignificant and treat it like it actually had any relevance to what they were doing. The bit would have been the same regardless of whether they got the release type right or not you fucking dolt.Have fun watching more things you don't like on youtube and trolling dumb ass.

  • @ajr4888 yes it does, these guys are just Stern imitators.

  • Gran Torino fucking sucked.

  • torino was a good film, clint is a good writer /director SO FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKER.

  • Great rebuttal.

  • YOUR MOMS BUTTAL

  • Yup, you win this argument.

  • @BJZnRPZ

Clint is not a writer. He has not written any movies.

  • What's with these punks? They make it sound like Play Misty For Me is some kind of embarrassment. It's not. It's a great film, and was well received.

  • I just saw Play Misty For Me, for the first time, today - and I can't understand what kind of fudge these morons have lodged between their ears. PMFM is a great thriller! Creepy suspence built up from nothing to heart-stopping in the course of 100 minutes!

But I guess appreciation for real entertainment is hard pressed, when all they seem to be able to come up with is some kind of giggly school boy "humor".

And, by the way, it WAS released theatrically; and didn't do too shabby at that!

  • Patrice: *in breathy voice* Opie...push your fart-button for me...

  • Who are these Howard Stern wannabees to make fun of one of the greatest writer/actors/directors in history?

  • go die stupid

  • Raiden, not for nothing, but sometimes you take things way too seriously...(unless of course your sarcasm has been lost on me)

  • It was.
