  • These have actually dropped in price recently from $15-18, which is an incredible price per die. I like to get a few people together and everybody chips in a few dollars and divides the dice.

  • NATURAL 20!

  • I want it!

  • I'm a huge fan of the pound o' dice -- mostly keep them on hand for the gamers who forget their dice, and then they stand in as markers on the map for extraneous things that die in large quantities.

  • I have been using the pipped six siders for monsters during combat. It's really handy. I set them with the six facing up to start, and then turn them to other numbers depending on if they fall under the effects of other spells. Like 1 for sleep, 2 for hold, 5 if they had a critical miss and won't get to attack the next round. It makes it a lot easier to keep up with combat. And I use the other dice to mark the number of hit points of damage each monster has taken by setting them on top.

  • I bought three of these.

Sorted out about 5 extra sets. On top of the three that come with it, and the remaining cool-looking dice, PLUS the majority left over 'community' dice for when we need big Fireball rolls and extra unmatched sets? A fantastic, excellent purchase.

  • I totally agree! Everyone loves the lucky die.

  • play some warhammer 40k!!! so fun

  • We will play anything that the students want to play. So far, we've played:

Dungeons & Dragons (this is what we play most often)

    Warhammer

Students also bring card games or board games like Yugioh, Pokemon, Magic the Gathering and Settlers of Cataan, Clue, etc. Sometimes students who don't want to play games will just log on to the computer and play runescape or minecraft.

  • @kevtarsmith I led a D&D club when I was in middle school, best of luck to you and your students! Great video, I just ordered a pound-o-dice for myself, hope I get a similar spread as you did!

  • These seem cool. I've been playing rpgs with my friends for a while, and dice just seem to be the thing we keep on losing. I wind up finding them 3 days later, but this would keep the games flowing. I may have to buy a pound or 2. Nice review by the way. Pray tell, what games are played in said club?
