PIXELPROTECTOR is TRASH as it can be downloaded for FREE from torrentz.
It was made in some guy's home on a personal computer. If you really know anything about this subject you will know the best (and only) way to effectively setup a screen is to use a properly generated test screen/card.
But I can only guess you beiing warped in the head can't comprehend it.

My new 50in samsung plasma i just baught already has this one pixel on the top left of the screen that is stuck on one green color and wont go away,will pixelprotector help?

Ok, My fiend bought a tv about 2 grand more than mine, his is a mitsubishi and I have a Hitachi. My TV blows his away in color xontradt and the whole shibang...and oh yeah....I make money on the side doing screen calibration with this DVD. take my advice and buy it. It is well worth it.
The screen washes work great. I use it every month. This is best used for preventive maintenance, however I did use it on an CRT monitor that had screen burn so severe you could see images even though the TV was turned off!!! This thing cleared it in 4hours, no trace whatsoever
