  • amazing! she is one of my heros, and she is still inspiring so many young people including me.. So awesome to see her happy and moving and smiling before the horror she went thru. It is fun to imagine that the couple could be Meip and her husand, the boy on the bicyle in the street to be "Hello" .. So amazing thank you for sharing this!

  • i am a big anne frank fan. she is amazing and my hero. she inspires me. i can't believe it is really her! even though i have seen this rare video of her before.

  • its sad how she died and she was such a wonderful girl

  • She always reminds me of a little angel every time a watch this. She was so young and pretty; and it was all cut short. To see her laughing and smiling...just wow. Sends chills up my spine.

  • Look who that is at 0:11! It's Anne Frank!

  • wow so amazing. Thanks for posting. Where did you get this?

  • This is amazing. I can't believe how they got that! I'm just so shocked right now :D

  • When I first saw this video, it was so moving! I'm 42 and studied her diary in Jr. High, about her age in the video. Her experience has always stayed with me, I had no doubt that the image was her and it was surreal to see her moving, smiling, laughing.

  • this is AMAZING Anne has inspired people all around the world like she has inspired me

  • this is AMAZING Anne has inspired people all around the world like she has inspired me

  • :( it's sad thinking this is the only film footage of her

She looks so peaceful.not knowing what's gonna happen to her later.

I love you Anne frank!you are a true inspiration

    :)

  • thats so cool seing a girl that got to many peoples hearts and taught everyone about all the things in those times. very impressive that she was captured on film

  • In the description, it says it was July 22 1941 when this footage was taken. It is really sad that this was when the Nazis were in Netherlands and that this was 1 year before Anne went into hiding and 3 1/2 years before she died. R.I.P. Anne Frank. We Love You

  • My fascinations about her and the others in the annex will never come to an end...i really wished her life didnot have to end in such a way...

  • I have a better perspective of her now while reading the book

  • Wow, amazing! R.I.P. Anne Frank...

  • Just amazing... Thanks for posting this! I watched the movie, which basically left me in tears at the end... it's so sad...

  • It's sad to see her, from doing what anyone else would do, showing interest in a neighbour's wedding, to be forcibly taken away and imprisoned in a Nazi camp where she eventually died. The effort who betrayed the family must be a real Yutz 1st class with honours.

  • I've damn near watch everything to do with horror out there. From Japanese psychological horrors to American slashers. I've known people who've killed themselves, met criminal psychopaths, had a sister who died from cancer at 17, seen a friend scream until he died in a mangled car wreck and seen an old man beaten to death over a bottle of milk.

But I don't think anything will ever disturb me more, make me as sad or leave me with a cold feeling in my stomach more than the story of Anne Frank.

  • The first time I ever watched this video, I wept. Anne has always been my greatest inspiration, and the reason I want to do so many things. Her diary is a "novel" I have read more than anything else in my entire life, even unto memorizing parts of it. I adore her life--so simple, and cut tragically short. Her story is one of millions, but the one I love most. She is the reason I keep on. If you haven't yet, I recommend watching Anne Frank:The Whole Story. A perfect telling of this tragedy.

  • Right up until the end Anne never gave up believing, she wanted to live- she does- in our hearts and in the copies of the diary she wrote which should be part of everyone's bookshelf collection. No one deserved to died in WW2 but dont blame Germans now- they can't help their ancestors doings. Blame Hitler- he knew what he was doing!

  • I had already seen part 0:09-0:13 at another site but this is the first time I have seen the full video. Thanks for sharing!

  • im reading about anne in literature. i think her story is very interesting and sad. its also sad that this is the only little film of her. she was very brave and admirable. RIP anne.

  • I get so sad when I think of her and her family but worse her father was the only one who lived out of the 8 people who were in hiding. He had to live with those memories until his death in 1980.

Worse...if they all stayed hidden a few more months the war would've been over and they would've been together :( :(

  • brb door lol

  • Who'dve thought that the girl just looking out the window woul become one of the most famous writers in history...

  • I wonder what she said when she turned around.

  • Thank you for doing such an important work in helping keep this amazing girl's memory alive. God bless you.

    Emmi xxx

  • I got goosebumps when I saw her.

  • we recently just watched a video on anne frank at school and the movie was so good and sad and i felt so bad for the innocent people kids. I felt so bad when the mother died then margo died and anne thought her father died but he didn't' and she died 2 weeks before they were going to be freed and Peter died 3 days before which was upsetting he could of lived. I tried to but me in anne frank's life being so young and watching your mother and sister and family friends die basically in front of u

  • "Who has made us Jews different from all other people? Who has allowed us to suffer so terribly up until now? It is G-d who has made us as we are, but it will be God, too, who will raise us up again. Who knows it might even be our religion from which the world and all peoples learn good, and for that reason and only that reason do we suffer. We can never become just Dutch, or just English or representatives of any country for that matter. We will always remain Jews."

    - Anne Frank -

  • HOW CAN 205 PEOPLE DISLIKE THIS THEY MUST HAVE NO SOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the video. Little Anne has touched the hearts of millions, she was such an Angel. In her diary she describes standing in front of a mirror and wondering if she could be a Hollywood Movie Star. Her wish was granted in a way with this YouTube video.

  • this is sad i wish there were more film cuz i think this story should be told to the world!

  • Spectacular, truely spectacular. So brief, but so powerful.

  • Wow,this was on my birthday,just 56 years before I was born...

  • Dit zijn echt hele mooie beelden, vooral dat ze nog even goed ondanks alles zo blij uit het raam kijkt.

  • This is amazing. I have always seen pictures, but to see her as ayoung girl laughing and smiling is another experience. If I had one chance to meet her, I would take it

  • She was a dear girl. Rest in peace, Anne.

  • Wow! Thanks a million for posting this.

  • Thanks so much for posting. This video was most likely taken before she went into hiding. She was still able to live a normal life during this time. Anne Frank will never die or be forgotten!

  • its fascinating seeing her in footage, we only ever see pictures and read her words and that makes it seem like a story, but to see her moving around and laughing and being happy is so surreal. Thank you for posting this.

  • Ik wist wel dat er een foto van was, maar deze zie ik voor het eerst dankzij de tijdbalk van youtube

  • Its amazing to see a actual video of this courageous young lady. She is an inspiration to all mankind. Her story will live forever.

  • It makes me sick how many people died due to ignorance! Even still thumbs down. What is the problem with people. She was just a little girl who did not deserve the fate she was given. I feel for every single person who had to endure this tragic insanity!

  • @courtneyrae16 Anne was a normal person who reminded us that everyone has a shining light in their heart and a story to tell. We only see it if we sit up and listen and watch. It saddens me how this world only listens to the famous. Anne was a wonderful, normal girl. Its the power of the human spirit.

  • Many Thanks

  • I was in Bergen Belsen and I saw a memorial grave for Anne... where many gifts were left... really shocking and touching.

  • This is so haunting to watch. She and all the others in these images who were lost.

  • WOW! How wonderful is our God! These people preserved the most important day of their lives thinking it was their wedding, but it was to document that there really lived a lovely girl named Anne Frank!

  • Thank you for posting this... She was a talented girl, who managed to escape the jail of mortality and wrote one of the most important books in history..... Thank you for keeping her memory alive...

  • Amazing! Thanks for posting this.

  • Tk u so much for sharing this video with others.. There are lots of people around the world very curious and supporting to Anne. Thank you

  • I like to think she's saying "Margot! Come look!". She was so cool.

  • Its absolutely amazing seeing her in a video. you always see pictures but now you can actually see her moving around and laughing. its amazing.

  • before or when she was in hiding?

  • @Taylor10909 This is of course before hiding. :)

  • @Taylor10909

This was about a year before she started writing her diary.

  • @Taylor10909 The house shown is where the Frank family lived prior to going into hiding in June 1942.

  • i believe it was a year before the Franks went into hiding. During the time in the annex they wouldn't have dared to leave their hiding place. Thankfully they had righteous gentiles like Miep Gies who was willing to risk her life bring the family food and things they needed

  • @Taylor10909 this was before.if she were in hiding, she wouldn't be able to look out the window in fear of being seen

  • Wow so amazing. And ths is the only existing film from Anne.I can't this discribe..

  • Thank you very much for put this in !

  • I went to the anne frank house and i loved it eventhough i am twelve people think i am to young to know what happened i love her story R.I.P Anne i am sorry you had to suffer

  • elke keer als ik die beelden zie,, denk ik:

dat meisje, dat meisje dat daar staat in de raamopening...

wat zal zij veel meegemaakt hebben.

    verdrietig gewoon.

  • I cant believe this is the only film! It is wonderful, and i cant wait to learn more about Anne Frank. Thanks for all the great videos!!!
