you have to have Airborne Training at Ft. Benning in order to become a Ranger of the 75th Reg.

SF? You have to be with the Regiment(75th Ranger Reg) for atlest 3-4 yrs, then ones you excelled in being the Best Ranger you possibly can be, you'll talk to your Superior about SF(Green Berets)

No. They are two seperate entities. There is no requirement to be Ranger Qualified or in the Ranger Regiment to become a member of Special Forces. To get there you can volunteer for the training once you become an E4 or enlist under 18x/Rep 63.

Listen, You don't need to be a ranger to go SF, they are two seperate disciplines. Rangers are advanced infantrymen, and do NOT qualify as special forces. Green Berets are special forces. You can become a Green beret by getting sf on your contract in their xray program. You would have to pass selections and look better than the sgts that are competing for the same spot; but it is possible. Talk to a recruiter.
