Most all the Occupy people are in fairly good physical shape and such. I really doubt that most of the 99% ...that are too shy even to window shop at malls anymore are going to want to get out and be seen.

That's true. I use to own a mortgage company. What most people don't understand is that the mortgage bubble and housing is what held our economy up for the last 8 years. Wages weren't rising so we made up for it by using our homes as a piggy bank. Now people won't have their homes to use as a piggy bank. It's all down hill now without a parachute.

They loved visiting me in NY, went home with all their bills paid, and I offered to move them all to France at my own expense in 2009 and they laughed at me. A lot of my community healthcare is free in France, but in fact it's not, as we are heavily taxed and there is waste and corruption. If I make an appt, however, I can get my teeth fixed, social workers, specialists, all kinds of stuff with no money out of pocket. I just couldn't get that in the States -- when pregnant, I couldn't even get BASIC prenatal care. The healthcare issue in the States must be resolved, but I think many doctors oppose this. I really do. Uprated.

I don't worry about the debt being passed on even though I would cut the military by orders of magnitude and other spending. The younger generations will not have to worry about it. It can't be paid back. One way or the other, the rich will have to write it off. Perhaps there will be a reset and all the debt will be irrelevant anyway. This time is different because the world doesn't have the resources to fall back on like it did in earlier recoveries. A reset makes a depression seem mild.

When I was 25 I was living as a hermit at my parents house with no vehicle, no income at all, and about 1000 bucks in the bank account leftover from student loan income. Now at 29 Im doing OK, but the moral of the story is hes young and he can have a good future ahead of him.
