  • i have an 07 sxt with 80,000 miles. i think its super practical and the sound system is pretty awesome, so if you like driving with the radio on, you cant really hear the road noise. i overpaid for my car, but i love love love it.

  • You complain about that car. The based price is 12000$. Don't excpect to drive a car that costs 35 000$. You pay 12 000, you have the quality for 12 000. If you are not happy, buy a F150 at 63 000 then maybe the plastic will be less cheap!

  • I have a 2007 Caliber. One of the biggest pieces of junk that I ever bought. December 09 I had to replace the ball joints, inner tie rods and control arms. A week later the engine light came on and I had to replace 2 solenoitd variable valves. Well Guess What!!!! In November of 2010, I had to replace the same to valves. Then to top it off, Jan 2011 during inspection, the eFing ball joints needed to be replaced again. The Dealership did not make good for it WTF, NEVER AGAIN will i buy a Dodge

  • @klitsch8201 It all depends on how you drive. As I can read, you are the kind of person that likes to do burnout at every red light. You are the only one that has a serious problem with boldjoint.

  • I have this car Caliber SE since December 2006; even do i think i paid too much for it and gas its not great, and yep the inside is kind of noise; Its pretty big and u can get a lot of things in it ... and so far the only thing i had to worry about was changing the battery....my baby has almost 40,000 miles and its looking great!!! the one thing I love is that to the naked eye is hard to tell the difference between years... lol which is great!!!

  • i dont care about the interior,it look awesome with the price, both in and outside ...but i understand why on yahoo auto and auto ttrader this car,the used one was so cheap.....because of its reliability.....it will cost you thousand of grand to maintain this shit ,tire,rod,engine............i'm going to take this car home ,just some day before that i realize its cheap fact....so lucky...

  • is it a gay?

  • people by a renault twingo with shitty interior and love it.. people see the dodge caliber which is almost the same price like a good vw polo and say ahh fuck this interior this is shit go away with the caliber. cool drive in the small polo and get rammed

  • We bought our 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT in the Cash for Clunkers program. I like the exterior styling and even the interior is fine for us. The seats are very comfortable and I find ingress/egress most acceptable (me being 6'3" tall). I don't understand the dig at the interior components. In almost every other car I have owned, the soft stuff starts to separate from the hard stuff eventually. We hope to drive this car for 15-20 years, and only time will tell if it was worth the $11,250 paid.

  • for some reason i see caliber in a whole new light now hymm

  • I feel badly for these designers. They clearly want to build attractive vehicles, and Chrysler actually has some handsome cars. Their good work is sabotaged by the bean counters who use the cheapest possible parts.

  • exactly what i was thinking fod and chrysler's cars are made of plastic.

  • nice color, nice car

  • He is a rather tall man. Notice that he didn't try and get in and out of the vehicle. What about seat comfort and space? That means a lot more than "chill zones" and removeable flashlights.

  • window to side ratio. lol, he thinks it's a good thing cuz the way it will look on the road, mabe it's better if you can see more, lol, this guy is too much

  • looked at it closely and :intimately: ??? lol

  • the nissan Tiida/Latio has a lot to offer interior wise and engine wise. And alot cheaper than the Caliber. Try the hatchback Nissan Latio/Tiida.

  • The interior is crap. I rather by a nissan latio than this pis of shit. Well, the exterior brilliant but the engine is no winner. The plastic inside makes it look like a toy car.

  • Hey guys, i am trying to buy me a 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT right now for about 13 000

It got 33 000 miles on it and i was wondering if that is a good price for that car or not?

I test drove it today an i loved the way it takes offffffffffffffff...... but i dont know if that car is worth that much money

    .....................

  • I know a guy who has a Turbo-diesel. If it's the TD then it would be worth it, if not then you should try to bargain it down.

LOL sorry if this information is useless now!

  • LOL

Yes you are right, its useless now, because i didnt buy that one, i decided to go with the latest one. Bought the 2009 brand new and i have been driving it for about 10 months now.

    I love that car.

I appreciate you trying to help.

  • Your welcome, considering that Dodge was owned by Chrysler, and they're out of business; will the servicing become an issue soon?

  • for the american market, it's about time we had someting as bold as the Caliber in the US auto market! The Caliber is a sure winner for me! and thank you Greg Howell for designing this crossover!

  • I love my Cally! So different to all the other cars here in the UK. The interior is a little American, but there's a good reason for that... :-) I got the Diesel version, and get 47-49MPG.

  • I like the caliber alot but the interior hard plastics are a major disappointment. Dodge needs to rework the hard plastics/sheen to a more attractive look/touch.

  • You know I like the caliber but the interior in a way sucks. first because it's hard plastice and second it's very plain. But I do like the exterior of it !

  • What the fuck to you want it made out of...pillows? 99% of vehicles have hard plastic in them. Also, do you massage the dash when you are driving? I keep my hands on the wheel.

  • let me repeat myself I do like the caliber the caliber is on my list of cars I like , but the interior is just not my kind of taste so if you don't have anything nice to say just don't say it . thank you

  • For a car in this price range, it's normal to have an interior like this.

  • It's not normal to have an interior like this on European cars at this price bracket, NapoleonRaffa. And dadsbabypu, maybe you should go and sit in a few decent interiors, such as Alfas. It's no good making the car look good outside and then cheap & nasty inside - that's where you spend all the bloody time!

  • What you just said is classic i love the part when you say what do you do massage the dash?! Awesome! and hillarious! I have a caliber and i love it! maybe these people just need to drive it for a week. I honestly cant think of a car i have never seen with a hard p[lastic interior and yes europe that means your mercedes to!

  • exterior gets a 10/10

    interior gets a 1/10

chrysler products have hone to shit with their interiors within the last decade.

  • Can't agree with you more !!!

  • lol... You lead with your face.... What does it say about you if you have a glass jaw??? Great car otherwise mpg and space you get for price.

  • I love my Dodge Caliber.... Till I had a minor front end accident. There is absolutely no support or protection under the headlight assembly and the radiator hoses hang unprotected out of the right front corner.

  • answer #1: dont hit anything and you will never have to worry about it
