I would also agree, Batali dish would serve my palet better, but they where less original and did not articulate the dish as well. Simply using them

i dont know - the whole point is to make the secret ingredient the "star" of the dish. I can definitely see how Lo did a much better job at this than Batali, but i still think i would have found Batali's dishes better just by being more interesting.

@mchan2048 I typically like when they win, makes them seem more 'iron', then when they do lose you respect the opponent a little more. I really wonder if say, Jeffrey was on the panel instead of 2 women during the first women judge if it would have been closer... my guess is yes. Hats off to her though her dishes looked delicious.
