Food for thought: someone who tells you s/he is your friend and is lying is more "negative" than the person who is saying things you don't like but is telling you the truth. I've always been a "the emperor is naked" kind of guy. What you're looking for I think is to encourage people to think critically--and this means..for politics, commercials, and even good things like music and movies. My personal opinion is the zombies are already here...they just havent gotten the "fever" yet....most people i come in contact with...ya know, strangers you pass...cashiers, waiters, neighbors, family, friends, coworkers....all are oblivious to the world around them....and those same folks do also believe that the world revolves around them...so i guess that makes sense...but yeah...these folks are "the monkeys" maynard's singing about....never realizing words mean things.
