It's like Vincent along with the rest of the actors on the show just fit the part of 60s corporate America so well. It's like they already lived during that decade.
I HATE it when somebody feels compelled to overlay a rap track on most any video, much less a period piece such as this when they would have had no conception of contemporary ghetto-trash music. C'mon, give it a rest.
This dance routine was really remarkable and memorable when I first saw it. I was really impressed with their performance. I thought both Peter and Trudy did a fantastic job. Very impressive.
The Charleston scene was well done and appropriate.Americans were nostalgic for the Roaring Twenties in the Kennedy years. The creator of Mad Men really knew his stuff.
Pete is my favourite male character in Mad Men. He is interesting and complex and I love his relationship with Trudy - even though it has it's flaws, they do make a good team. My other favourites are Joan and Sally. I know Sally is only 10, but she's so interesting for a young character and you can't help but sympathize with her.
Idk why people hate Pete, maybe because i work with politics but Pete Campell is no where near the worst ive seen. Hes ambitious sometimes to a fault but its a quality to be proud of. He makes mistakes but he does seem to be genuinely good-hearted. Hes my favorite character on the show
I love how at 0:50 Pete glancing at his co-workers matches up with "Money on my mind." It's quite apparent that he and Trudy practiced this dance for weeks solely to impress the people at his job, so money was most definitely on his mind. He's a slick one.
Pete is definitely my favorite character on the show. He's complex and very real; I KNOW people like him. Something about his childish ways and bitchy moods make him infinitely attractive to me... he's adorable. I really am a lot like Peggy in the series, so the integrity of the show is all the more apparent when they hit it off. I just need to find my squeamish little brat of a man now ;)
Dude, this is great. You should expand it with more clips from the show, you could real creative taking things out of context to make Pete look thug. Oh, and sound samples, of course. "Hells bells, Trudy" needs to be in there, somewhere.
I loves Vincent Kartheiser, anyway what episode is this?

At least not everything Pete and Trudy do together is doomed to failure.
They've got all the moves - (but not much else).
