  • I knew a pit bull who was the sweetest and gentlest dog, like Sharky. My next dog WILL be a pit bull.

  • Raise it right and it'll be a good sweet dog. The breed is a "bully dog" and if you have no idea how to raise or train or dominate a dog (WITHOUT beatin the shit out of it) then your dog is gona bully the fuck outa you (and you wont realize it) and do what it wants when it wants.

  • toonaddict is right on the money there. Sadly the earliest origin of the 'bull' in Bulldog is from a time when folks made a sport out of terrorizing a bull chained to a heavy metal ring in the ground. :-( Often in the center of town. Birmingham in England has a famous area called 'The Bull Ring'. But bull terriers are bred as companion animals. And I say that the pit bull should always be referred to as the American bull terrier.

  • Staffordshire Bull Terriers are lovely dogs, smart and actually very easy to train you just have to stick with it and not give them any slack.

    And yes, its very important people call the dog by its breed name, and not as a "pit" .

    FYI If anyone is deciding to travel make sure you learn the law of the land your visiting. In the UK if you attempt to bring in a "pit bull" it will be taken and destroyed not just banned from comin in but killed.

    Take a look at the 4 banned in japan

  • Please don't tell sharky I said anything about his weight when you put him on a diet and exercise routine. I don't want to get on nice Sharky's bad list. Can I have Sharky? lol

  • nice brood! i think that is the word... ( ;

  • brood =

    1: the young of an animal or a family of young ; especially : the young (as of a bird or insect) hatched or cared for at one time

    2: a group having a common nature or origin
