I looked at the Vid again and from 1.37 to 1.46 it looks and sounds like I'm doing a descending 3rds intermixed with a descending 4ths scale. Congrats to you , very observant question. Do you play jazz? What state are you from?
music scale is 8 notes,,lets say C up to C. In that key C is the 1 and D is the 2 and E is the 3 and F is the 4 and G is the 5 all the way up to C again numerically. Ascending 3rds is when you play up the scale but the 2,4,6,8,10 notes played are a 3rd above the previous note.
I suggest you buy or borrow a cheap yamaha electronic keyboard and a basic music theory book and spend 35 minutes a day studying. The piano is laid out in a very easy way to illustrate music theory. I like your playing.
Nice job, you play it well. I would like to hmbly suggest that you eliminate all riffs, especially the repetitve ones, they only fill empty space with more empty space.listen to Trane's solos(also the alternate takes). There's a reason Oscar peterson doesn't touch this song...his riffy playing would say nothing here..it's a deceptively simple song, you could keep on playing in a minor key forever without having to worry about chord changes, but it's supremely difficult to make this say something.
Thanks for noticing how much work it takes to get here. Its been a long journey. I'm now playing a bunch of alternate tuning Zep stuff note for note. In 08 when I was 14 I was one of the 12 finalist's for the Grammy foundations "Gibson Baldwin ensemble". This all teenage group gets an all expense paid trip to LA to play the before and after parties at the Grammy awards and to record at Capital Studios.

Manchester, England.
I play the steel drums, have a look at my account, I have videos of me soling
I don't read or write music, and barely understand the basic theory, hence your reply hasn't made much sense... which is a shame.
I don't play jazz, but my solos are jazzy... It was a jazzman who got me into improv.. Since, I've been working on it for 1 yr.
Let me know if you have any tips, tricks, or advice.
P.s - if you could make your explaination a bit more simple, I'd be appreciative.
