I wanna be you when I grow up. No, Really. I don't mean I wanna copy your licks or style because I'm havin' a good time lookin' for my own groove. It's just that I've watched your journey over the last year or so and I see a man truly walking in grace. If I could find even a portion of that as I work out my own path I would be grateful. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Thank you for taking the time to comment and share your personal thoughts. Learning to play and then eventually teaching has been very helpful to me. It has provided a focus in my life that kept me from going astray. My teachers pointed in the direction. I just keep wandering and searching. I still got a lot to see and discover. Whatever you desire, just stay the path and enjoy as much as possible. We are only here for a very short time. So focus on the here and now. Keep the Faith. Enjoy.
Thank you. I cut my teeth on windows movie maker. So, learning the pinnacIe was not that bad. I still need to experiment to learn more, but that is where the fun comes in. Highly recommended. Enjoy.
Thank you so much for keeping this style of music alive! You are a historian and creating a fantastic document with your series of videos. Plus, I have stolen many licks!
@daddystovepipe Thank you. It is a clip on tie that I bought on ebay. LOL I would like a real one because I found a video on youtube on how to tie one on correctly. Unfortunately, string ties are not the most popular fashion here on the east coast. I will have to search the internet.
So, I might as well put a shout out.
If anyone down south would be kind enought to send old Keni Lee a real string tie it would be much appreciated. LOL Enjoy.
@kzustang Thank you for your kind words. I guess if you are going to post music performances on youtube, you might as well learn how to make better movies too. I really enjoy the creative part of editting the video. The pinnacle software is very good. Enjoy.
Love it,awesome!, Fantastic bass riff goin on, love the camera angles and b+w and the tie too it all enhances the great dramatics that you've got goin.
@blindboyblue Thank you for your comment. This is new Pinnacle studio software that was a gift from a friend, John McNair. He makes cigar box guitars. Please visit his site: reddogguitars. Enjoy.
@jackn1969 Thank you for your comment. I took my inspiration for this video from the 1960s footage of Son House's performance. They used a fade into the resonator cone. I thought the "water drop" effect would work well to simulate a visual vibration. Enjoy.
Rockin'the house Keni Lee Blues Burgess.I love this song and its more the better when people do it justice like urself sir. Those galvo resonators sound so dirty its just gotta b right.
your good but i think son house owns the exlucive rights to play this song the best
