Airforce had to fly our planes in from Charleston, and by that time the company from the 504th got squared up, and deployed instead of us. Sounds simular to the Panama deployment.

In OEF, the first from the 82d. Where ever these men go, they take care of business. I had the privilage of being a Tm Ldr, Sqd Ldr, and Plt Ldr during each of the these. There is a stretch of the 101 freeway near Santa Barbara in CA, that is adopt a highway, and is by the 82nd Aiborne. I think of where these guys are, and what they are doing everyday I make the drive. God bless the troops.
Well the 82nd Airborne Division is based out of Ft. Bragg NC, but they've done mulitple tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm glad there's people here that haven't forgotten our troops. thanks
