tis game scared the shit out of me. It absolutely intrigued me. I loved to read those dark lines,
looking out of the window into that empty hopeless world, the darkness. read all those casual lines that delivered so much feeling. This unhappy loneliness.. Was like one great book.
The music during the murder scenes was so gorgeous, i loved it. this bass is epic.
yesw i did ! :) and i think it indeed made the whole thing much more intense. Great idea to deliver a "book with a story" with a game. loved it with frontier or first encounters as well
i used to play this game when i was little. very little...my aunt would never let me play the sex part except for once and she told me not to "look" lol and somethin made this game pop into my head..i miss it
ah yes... the reason why there will be a difference is because Dreamweb (and so many others) were re-written for the amiga1200, end result; better graphics and music.
This is the best fucking game ever!! i played at amiga times and is so atmospheric game. i hope wich developers have made.. they starting a come back with this game!!
I remember getting this on copy from a car boot sale one gloomy Sunday. I took it home and played it to death...watching this brings back some fond memories :)
It defeats the purpose of the longplay because a longplay is supposed to capture the game as is on an emulator or original hardware. It's not a AMV, it's a video playthrough.
No, your videos are great. I just don't believe that being a historian would allow you to take an artistic license, especially one as anachronistic as the example here.
Thanks for uploading this. I've always wanted to see how the Amiga version of DreamWeb was like as I only knew about the PC CD-ROM version. The PC CD-ROM version is definitely better, since it has MUCH better music, above average voice-acting, and eternal raining outside. :-)
That was the most creepiest video game I have ever seen. No matter what, you die. It dosn't explain why Ryan just follows orders, and never tells us what happened to the Priest who looks like he beccame something out of a Lovecraft story. And the most scary part of all, Ryan just kills in cold blood and lies to his girl friend. MESSED UP!
i loved dreamweb on my amiga, i remember it being so moody and mysterious.. i agree with xisme66 to some extent.. but thats like maniac mansion too it can drive you nuts trying to figure out what to do sometimes
Old school adventures like this one were fun, but also kind of pissed me off. Since if you didn't know you had to pick up something, or do something, then you're screwed. No going back, and you won't realize why.
Cash Card. Now that's something humanity could use.

I don't think Ryan was crazy... otherwise, how would he have been able to teleport from place to place or to get his hands on that crystal?

Wow, finally found this. I had forgotten the name of it. One of the best games I ever played!

The developers have put a lot of love and thought in this game. I like the grimey look about it and the score.

Is it just me or is the music in Eden's flat sound different than the amiga OSTs of Dreamweb posted on youtube?

ah yes... the reason why there will be a difference is because Dreamweb (and so many others) were re-written for the amiga1200, end result; better graphics and music.

the best adventure of all time, but IMHO the music of the PC version is much better than the Amiga version. Check out the PC intro - eerie !

Why did you replace the credits with the Killer 7 music? That defeats the purpose of a Longplay, and Killer 7 was RETARDED.
KitsuneDarkStalker 3 years ago
Because there was no music at all and i didnt have the DreamWeb PC music at that time, so i couldnt add it.
Why does it defeat the purpose of a longplay? It still is a full playthrough!
And no Killer7 was not retarded!
cubex55 3 years ago

Thats not what the definition on Wikipedia says ;)
cubex55 3 years ago
Why, did you edit it?
KitsuneDarkStalker 3 years ago
If that was the case you would be able to see it in the article history.
No one forces you to watch our videos, if youre not happy with them, feel free to submit your own much better longplays.

OK you're right, after thinking about it, the music does fit the end.
KitsuneDarkStalker 3 years ago
Took you a month to change your mind eh? ;)
I probably will do the Pc version of DreamWeb at some point, and wont do any edits to it :)
cubex55 3 years ago
Oh you can definitely do edits to that one! I won't complain if you mask the "professional" voice acting! :3
