@dieselcrazy07 Sorry, pal, but I'm not buying that BS. The 2006 Duramax is the LBZ, which is the best one, with the exception of the 2011. That motor lays waste to your 7.3 PowerCHOKE. Your friend either doesn't know how to drive, or doesn't exist. I have a Cummins, so don't even bother trying to say I'm biased towards the Duramax.

I can safely say this thing would probably run a high ten. If im not mistaken this thing dynoed at 1038HP with some tremendous touque. If my buddies 08 Super Duty can run 13s with a spartan... Im damn sure this 7.3 could run a flat 10.

I really like the setup on urs tho....4dr longbed...definately the way to go (im just runnin the sc)...but yeah really nice lookin except for the attennas....definately gotta move those to behind the cab...regardless of how cool they look on a tractor trailer...still a pickup u kno lol? Youll def like the look better...not as distracting lol! Could also be my personal preference too so idk lol!

Haha never said you "need" a rev limiter...jus said you usually "want" a rev limiter...i mean the "investment" is ALOT cheaper than having to build a whole "new" investment...if you know wat i mean....like i have a carburated 5.0L mustang w/o a rev limiter...and i worry bout it EVERYTIME i get in the yellow...cause if i hit red on the guage....id know it!! haha im seriously thinkin bout installing on on it....too nice of a car not too! But then again, it isnt my everyday driver, so its a "want!"

what all do you have done to your truck? i have a 95 with a ts chip and cool air k&n and am looking at 4" from turbo back but of corse my turbo is leaking oil and i can only get about 15 pounds out of the stock turbo. i'm always open for ideas though haha
