I have never flown in snow before, how do you pack the wing up...on the snow and dry it at home? Does flying in snow have the same effect as getting the wing and lines wet?
it is no problem to fly in snow as long the temperature is low. otherwise the snow is going to melt and than the lines and the canopy is going to be wet. than during flying the water will freeze again. thats bad for the canopy because the water transform into crystals and they are sharp.
But i think for a new glider with a good surface it is no problem at all
After a day flying i dry the glider in dark room.
Flying is very nice, you can play with the snow. but also cold (-10 degrees *brrr*)
