I grew up with xbox so of course i like it more. But i do acknowledge its problems and errors. I also like the playstation to, and i see its problems as well. I think a good compromise would be for the two companies to create one console and online network together. Think about it the 2 best gaming industries combining the best parts of their consoles together to make the Playbox or Xstation. That system would be epic.

No sorry. Xbox is not the most shitty hardware. First off we've had 3 new cooling chips which have gotten rid of RROD. Ps3 over heats to shit within a few hours of online. The online is absolutely terrible. Paying 60 USD a year isn't asking much considering we get access to free demo's EARLY and a better community. Also XBL Silver is free. If you're not into competitive online gaming don't buy XBL Gold. Lol sorry but the 360 matches ps3 aside from blu-ray which is useless anyway.

Most PS3 games have dedicated servers. No lag. Vs the 360 which has P2P servers = LAG. And YOU PAY for that shit.

k, fair enough. i think they should just do a huge recall and give everyone new xboxes, with actual lead solder for the main chipset instead of the unleaded crap they used, which most likely causes the RROD,.. i have read on different sites and forrums that at the high tempuratures found during gameplay and extended use, the unleaded solder becomes undone and therefore the xbox becomes a brick of useless-ness. lol..just glad mine hasn't done that yet.

You do realize that blu-ray allows for FOUR times the content, I believe? FACT: Uncharted 2, which utilizes the whole PS3 disk would have to be on THREE 360 disks.
Most PS3 games have dedicated servers. No lag. Vs the 360 which has P2P servers = LAG. And YOU PAY for that shit.

The Xbox 360 isn't a "bomb", no fanboyism just a fact. Each of these consols is for a different person. The Wii for those young and old people just getting into gaming, the PS3 for those who actually notice the difference between HD and Blue Ray and have so much money to waist that they can get a blue ray TV (which are about as much as a car) and buy a coloses of a system that is the most expensive one out there, while the XB is for the casual beer drinking gamers

k, fair enough. i think they should just do a huge recall and give everyone new xboxes, with actual lead solder for the main chipset instead of the unleaded crap they used, which most likely causes the RROD,.. i have read on different sites and forrums that at the high tempuratures found during gameplay and extended use, the unleaded solder becomes undone and therefore the xbox becomes a brick of useless-ness. lol..just glad mine hasn't done that yet.

With that said... The true console war winners are us, the consumers. This "war" has brought prices down and put loads of original content on to our consoles. Let's hope 1 console is never dominant because that would be terrible for the entire industry!

actually ps3 has recently been going up, 360 elite is the best all 360 owners have to agree, but its 449.99 plus tax and a game goes up 2 550, and then the huge console isnt wireless, u need 2 buy a wireless adapter which cost 99.99 which then makes it cost more than the ps3, 360 has better games cause it came out 16 MONTHS B4 the ps3, and the other 360's (pro) aren't reliable & break easily, not 2 mention the monthly fee of 24.99 to play live, while ps3 is free
