Would they go down as the most successful band of all time? 35+ years & still going, never stopped recording/touring (probably the longest gap is 5 yrs between Zooropa & Pop), original 4 members still active, no new members no members leaving

Still produce songs as good now as they did in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s.

Play classics as well as new stuff at concerts (instead of just stuff from latest album), Never hear of argument or splits

I'd find it hard to think of another band that can say that.

@kpsuk No. Their albums are getting worse and worse. They're still the best live band on the planet, but Bono's lyrics are just embarrassing and the songs aren't there anymore. Pop was their last interesting album. Don't get me wrong, they always have at least two BRILLIANT songs on every album since then. But some of the new stuff is so awful. I know they have another classic album in them. I KNOW THEY CAN PULL IT OFF.
