Tactics Ogre: Final Boss Shaher (Part 1 of 6)

Imagine making a series ( a TV show) out of tactics ogre games.

Back in the day I got to the final boss, wiped out, realized my party was too weak, and never played the game again :(. I always wished that I'd finished it. Now I'm planning tactics ogre on the psp.

@DinoRave888 Ogre tactics was older than ff Tactics, once Squaresoft and Enix mixed up together, Enix staff started to make the first FF Tactics ^^.

I just beat the game at 26 hours with my chars at level 30+. Damn boss is pretty agrevating, especially since he keeps summoning help into the stage, can hit all your party members with damaging attacks + cause random status ailments on everyone. I got the B ending.

Please note...Don't use a gameshark use only your tactical skill in defeating enemies and the final boss or make sure your level is levell 100 like I did for many times in order to reach this level...TRAINING MODE is only a best way...

I keep level 100 before fighting SHAHER so I win up once and defeating him on the ending...

i always managed to get to him but I always ran too low on supplies to survive and I was not very high lv so yea T_T

Shaher is pretty easy once you know how to fight him. First, equip Longinus to a character that can attack Shaher in the early turns (Ninja or Hawkman). Second, have a powerful, melee character learn Atropos. Give this character a sword crafted by Snapdragon item. Third, equip Saia with the Enfeeble spell.

That's it. Attack w/Longinus. Then Atropos. Then Enfeeble. Fight the minions w/ the rest of the team, and heal the damaged characters.

Repeat the sequence until you win the stage.

Hmm, I defeated this boss yesterday with eight characters around level 30-31, and yours are 50.

My fight took a while, had only three survivors in the end (my main character with Longincolnis, a priest who spammed heal plus and Cybil who spammed Thunderbird on the boss).

I had the girl with energy transfer before as well, and used it on Cybil so she could use more Thunderbirds, and all four of us just stood in a big group and my priest healed the shit out of us. :-)

Was my first time as well, but I have played Final Fantasy Tactics a lot so I learned a lot from that game - and I usually rush through things, and with that comes unnecessary long battles, but with a priest in the team anything works. :-)

Good job anyhow, good to see dedicated players.

@Blaiwnez I had my character around level 28 when we took this guy on. I Didn't have the spear, so I lost. I have to re-do the whole damn thing again.

man you maxed them out, its not funny when you beat him easly, my main character is ninja lvl 35 with clotho skill,I use mostly spears many. I attack bosses and my character so my character attack boss again

you have to name a girl Deneb and make sure shes C. Then get her vixens whisper and turn her into a witch, she then becomes the special witch Deneb.

-Allos (Dragoon with snapdragon sword)

-Flauros (Valkyrie with the Sacred Spear)

nah it was on the game gear tho the best type of game for this tho is vandal heart for the psx the story line in small but is big at the same time ide suggest downloading it the second is a bit wack but more chanracter customization if you want it gimme a shout i have torrents :)

dunno other shinging force games yet, but 3 for example looks terrible, i'll never play that BECAUSE of the fighting scenes.

No, and only because I went overtime lol...

I needed to complete the game within 25 hours or less, have no more than 5 characters dead. It's been over a year since I played this game so I might be wrong.

is it important to leave your main character with the water element?

Not necessarily, but it depends on which one you want, there might be a difference between the growth of a character, but idk.
