  • im starting to love this car

  • We are all dumbasses sometime !

  • それぞれのパーツがNISSANやTOYOTAやHONDAの車のそれにとても似ている。

  • @arsenie19 あなたはヒュンダイがコピーしたということに同意するか?!

  • Lot of haters... jump right in for a fast run and then make your decision, that car is amazing

  • dumb plastic shit! at least its nice to look at

  • Does it come with radiation foul out ?--Yes standard on all Japan cars and products !--Thank you for answering my question !

  • @einsteindrieu its not japanese dumbass its korean

  • @einsteindrieu Hahaha fucking idiot its Korean and its fall out not foul. Who the fuck fails at trolling. Wow.

  • chinesecar>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>hyundai

  • it does come with bluetooth i have one and i have bluetooth lol

  • audi R8>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> genesis coupe

  • @biyorkman no shit dude that car isnt even in the same category .

  • @biyorkman ok but thats not even close cost wise

  • @biyorkman duhhhh

  • will it have Spec R until next years..

  • this is the perfect version for me all I need is the lsd who needs power seat and al hid's are cheap and easy to find a radio is a luxury to me since most of my cars didn't have 1 so a basic 1 is cool with me and I don't have radio's cuz I had race cars so don't bother with the are u to poor for a radio cuz I don't think a poor person would have an 07 lexus is250 an 03 evo and a 05 g35 all at the same time but those cars did have radios

  • hyundai is smart company but seems like they can't read ppls desiring design. It's like chiense food. cheap, taste good and not good for your health. Hyundai is most smartest dumbass. got technology or skills but can't make one.

  • does the r spec really not have a sunroof?

  • Nice cars, but it depends, are you a street racer or do you want the commodities on everyday life. It's a hard choice now a days. The best cars don't even have powered seats... Sadly.

  • it would be awesome if the 2.0T specs were the 3.8 specs as far as horsepower:(

  • could be nice now its FR, but i dunno.. still a hyundai

  • @Rick0dB hyundai isn't what it used to be

  • @KNuss126 maybe not, but its still hyundai...

  • @fourtyseven05 Don't be a brand whore. That is the mark of an idiot. There is nothing in a name. Companies go in cycles. At onetime Jap automakers made shit products and now they make better products. They can easily start making shit products again because of such idiot fan bases and brand whores aka recalls and getting people killed (Toyota). Hyundai has hired CEO's, and engineers from other companies to elevate their products and its working. I welcome the competition.

  • @Warpath2198 @Warpath2198 you have no idea what I'm basing my views on, calling me an idiot. I have owned a toyota, honda, jeep, ford, Nissan and hyundai. My opinion is based on my experiences with those companies, not a brain-dead devotion to any one brand. I test drove the genesis and was far from impressed. I never said hyundai will always be trash. I recognize companies are capable of changing for the better. You are not the smartest or most informed person o YouTube, so how about an apology

  • @fourtyseven05 a hyundai that has the 4b11t for an engine for the 2.0t one

  • and deleted sunroof

  • At least for a 2011 R-Spec, he is wrong when says the Bluetooth feature is removed. I checked the e-brochure. Everything else he says is right though.

  • well i dont want to troll you along man, but while I appreciate your appreciation for a certain auto maker, beverage, phone etc, people would respect your opinion more if you weren't such a d*ck on all your posts.

  • i agree, the Hyundai has made great progress with these cars. and it is very good looking. but damn Slayer.. get the hell of this car's balls! good lord, your fanboydom is worse than that of a mac user!

  • @RDC98TDI Should I take that as a compliment or piece of advice?

    And BTW, I hate macs.

  • @EliteSlayer542 your supposed to give the man an answer not a statement.

  • @EliteSlayer542 Wah :'( I'm Eliteslayer and all I do is cry and argue against other youtube users.

  • @Ratava252 I argue because 90% of the people on youtube are head headed retards and it pisses me off.

Now that you've made your pointless statement, piss off.

  • @EliteSlayer542 "Head" headed retards? Don't you mean, "Hard" headed retards? A classic case of:

    "Takes one to know one."

  • the face looks like its from lexus.

  • At least Hyundai is TRYING. Stupid Toyota is so LAME, they all but forgot the TRUE enthusiat drivers out there... they NEED to step up their game. Bring back the RWD Supra and MR2... and a new RWD version of the Celica. Also, for all you guys who say they have RWD Lexuses... IT'S NOT THE SAME THING. A Lexus is a Lexus, and a Toyota is a Toyota... whether they are BOTH made by Toyota. I want a RWD real badged Toyota sport coupe... is THAT too much to ask. Toyotas current lineup is for old folks.

  • This is a wannabe ISF

  • @airtouch01 Why would it want to be an ISF? That car is a 4 door, this is a coupe? That made no sense... they compete in 2 different demographics.

  • @airtouch01 lol ISF, you mean the failed Bmw M3/MB c63 amg.

This genesis is doing NOTHING to try and compete against an ISF (which BTW cost 3x more). Its just a lighter and sportier version of an already great car. Now STFU and GTFO Toyota retards.

  • @EliteSlayer542 Yes BMW, Mercedes, Audi are first class quality, then you have Lexus..

But Hyundai isn't even considered here.. And what are they trying to do..? Sell something that Nissan does better, only at $2K cheaper..?

  • @airtouch01 What are you getting at? The genesis is almost in a class of its own. It has very few if any, direct competitors. And if your referring to the 370z, this genesis is nothing like it. This genesis is more like the Honda civic si. So what are you trying to say exactly? What Hyundai is doing (not trying, considering how very successful the genesis is) is to sell a great sports car.

  • @EliteSlayer542 So genesis has no competition..? Anyways if i was looking for performance i would not go for the Golf GTI, GTD, R without hesitation..

  • @airtouch01 The genesis has competition obviously, but what I'm saying is, who else makes a RWD, 300hp+, sports coupe at this price point?

And LOL at the Golf. The GTD is a pathetic 165hp diesel, the "R" isn't even out yet (and it still only has 265hp) and the GTI is still really slow and weak compared to the genesis. Not to mention ones a Hot hatch and the other is a sports car...

  • @EliteSlayer542 What abou torque and efficiency? And the diesel gets 50mpg

  • @airtouch01 Yes its efficient, yes it has a lot of torque, but it can still can get close to the genesis' 0-60 times. The Genesis is a sports car, it isn't made to be fuel friendly. And not to mention that the Genesis' handling and breaking are also far superior to that of a FWD Hot hatch.

  • @EliteSlayer542 I meant it CAN'T get close to the 0-60 times.

  • @EliteSlayer542 What if, I said, "Whatever you said I still don't care".

All that hard work in your comments, which I read none of, are pointless.

  • @Ratava252 If you said that, that makes you an immature kid that can except the fact that Hyundai is better than Toyota or you can't except the fact that hyundai is making great cars.

Either that, or your just a troll that wanted to try and bother me, in which case, congratulations loser.

  • not bad

  • Hyundia licks ass hole. korean shite.

  • @jeb721

Spelling errors and sentence fragments, that will portray your intelligent argument well. lol

  • a Hundai..?!?! oh.. come on.... try the pure japanese cars...

  • @299vasilis

Like what? Mazda is the only company from Japan selling a RWD sports car.

  • @obionecoyote I'll have to agree with that but think of all the rest.. someone would have to be ignorant to say that Jap cars are not a trademark of performance, engine quality and furthermore tunning! i guess that was my opinion, but i respect yours as well..

  • @299vasilis

I agree, I have an MS3 as a daily driver. American cars are better bang for the buck though.

  • @obionecoyote noooo we got the S2000 and the 350/370Z not to mentions some toyotas (lexus)

  • @96integra02

The 370 is admissable, it slipped my mind.

The 350 and S2000 are no longer made so they do not count.

A Lexus is too cost prohibitive and is not a true sports car.

And before anyone says it, a G37 is a luxury coupe, not a sports car.

  • @obionecoyote Say what? Where have you been? Nissan ALSO sells a Japanese RWD sports car... the 350Z, since 2003 and now the 370Z. lol ;)

  • I just can say that Genesis Coupe is a great product to be the first time for Hyundai making a car of that type. It is sad to see so many morons online with no idea of where brands like Toyota or Nissan came from. They used to be the POS, and they copied everything from the Big Germans to create the beloved Lexus or Infinity. Gen Coupe has a great performance and it is a Tuners Platform (just look for Mod Gen Coupe online). Let's see the future improvements, No doubt they are doing a good job.

  • i dont like the look of the front, but Its a decent car overall and I was looking at this over the weekend but could not pass a great deal up on a vette.

  • Comment removed

  • Hyundai scrapped the Bluetooth! The car lost an astonishing 0.020 kgs!

  • I've been shopping for a sports car for awhile.Bang for the buck I'm going with the Genesis coupe. I've had an S2000(used,best way to afford it).I've been reading up on Toyota's FR-S(FT-86) and have seen the projected price range-mid $25k - up.However the Toyota base model doesn't offer more hp than the Gen coupe(Toyota 140-180 supposedly). Those numbers don't justify the price tag of the "new AE-86." Don't get me wrong,I've had my misgivings about Hyundai, but they've upped their game.

  • i drove one of these and i gotta to say hyundai is doing somthing right.

  • @teamkvs

I drove one and thought it was a POS. What do you drive to compare it to?

The clutch is shit the power band on the 6 banger felt like a 3 cylinder. I was thinking of trading my MS3 for one and promptly decided I would sooner buy a smart car than that wanna be G35.

  • @obionecoyote I really would like to know if you know enough about cars to say things like the clutch is shit and power band bullshit..... A car reviewed by everybody and everybody came out with GREAT REVIEWS....You must be the Cars Guru or something...hahahahahahaha!!!

  • @wtrdogg20

So have you actually driven one? If you had you would know what I mean. BTW this car has lost several shoot outs and comparison tests. The 6 cylinder is slower than my 4 cylinder; 5 door hatch. The clutch chatters like it is in a diesel truck and overall it is kind of ugly. Not to mention the 1980's plastic interior and the recycled Mitsubishi engine in the 4 cylinder.....oh hold on I am sorry the engine they bought from Mitsu is not up to level of quality it was in the Eclipse 2.0T.

  • @obionecoyote Read more before talking bullshit, Both engines in this car are BRAND NEW ENGINES, nothing bought from Mitsu, fucking ignorant hater.

This car has been very well reviewed and many car journalists have many good things to say about this car. Actually Mitsu ask Hyundai for help to make the EVO X engines, FYI, you can google it!! How can you say it is slower than your 4 cylinder? Only a hater exaggerates facts like that. HATER, THATS WHAT YOU ARE. You know nothing about cars!

  • @wtrdogg20

No exaggeration; my car does 0-60 in 5.5 and the Genesis 3.8 is 6.1, Hyundai claims 5.7, but actual tests reveal slower #'s. Mitsubishi did indeed develop the Theta engine bottom end and block as part of the world engine plan with Chrysler AND Hyundai when they were in business together. Hyundai's G4KF also uses a TD04 which is a Mitsu snail. More than stock boost results in issues for the G4KF , but the 4B11T is fine. BTW; TURN YOU CAPS OFF, IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A SPOILED CHILD.

  • @obionecoyote LOL!! Then why Mitsu asked Hyundai for help to make the EVO X engine??... All those engines availabe in the GC are designed and developed by Hyundai. The GEMA has been disolved since many years ago, and all those engines they designed together are not longer in production, please go back and do your homework again. Now tell me that the Mustang 2011 is crap because it has similar numbers to GC. And the only spoiled child here is you, idiot! I USE CAPS FOR STUPDIS LIKE YOU.

  • @obionecoyote And about your 0-60 numbers in your 4 cyl....well, it is clear you know nothing about power to weight ratio. Look at the curb weight in your car, and look at Genesis, Mustang or Camaro, they'll be heavier and with similar 0-60 numbers, MORON. Please find better excuses to bash on Hyundai, FUCKING HATER!.

I am so fucking done with you....I am not wasting my time with clowns pretending know about cars. There is no use on discussing about car with a brainless hater.

    DISMISSED!

  • @wtrdogg20

    GC WT is 1537 - MS3 WT is 1438= 6.6% difference for MS3

GC HP is 306 - MS3 HP is 263= 14% difference for GC

    GC TQ is 266 ft/lbs - MS3 TQ is 285 ft/lbs = 6.7 difference for the MS3

Heres the math; the GC is slow even by numbers 6.6+6.7<14 lol

    GC 3.8 0-60 in 6.1

    V6 Mustang 0-60 in 5.5

    V6 Camaro 0-60 in 5.7

The V6 Genesis is top of the line and the others are entry level models with 400+ hp variants.

You may call me a hater, but you are the only thing thats worse; an uninformed fanboy.

  • @obionecoyote Stang V6 5.5 & V6 Camaro 5.7

    Lmfaoooooooooo,

Were they driven off a Cliff?

  • @BucketheadWraith

Strapped with our test gear, we spurred a new V-6 Mustang with the standard six-speed manual to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds

(Car and Driver, Mike Sutton, April 2010, para 3)

The Camaro -sic- V-6 makes no fewer than 304 horsepower and blasts from 0 to 60 mph in a healthy 5.9 seconds

(Car and Driver, Micheal Austin, March 2009, para 5)

Let me guess the people are Car and Driver are wrong too.

  • @obionecoyote

    How big was the hill?

  • @BucketheadWraith

Actually as required by the NHRA all drag strip must maintain a gradient of 180°. For the mind numbingly slow people such as yourself, 180° would be completely flat.

Flat means no hills, you understood all of that right? I don't have to repeat myself or buy you a coloring book or anything do I? I just want to make sure you can go to sleep tonight. You have a good night slugger and remember your special.

  • @obionecoyote

You will NEVER EVER EVER EVER get under 6 seconds 0 - 62(100)kmph With a SOHC V6.

Unless it's either being towed by a jet, Or driven off a Cliff.

  • @BucketheadWraith

It is not A SOHC jackass, do your research.

Its a DOHC Ti-VCT 3.7 liter with variable valve timing on exhaust and intake, on all 4 cams. It makes 307 HP and 280 FT/LBS.

And yes it will definitely do 0-100 in under 6 secs.

BTW the 5.0 Coyote is also a quad cam engine with variable valve timing in all 4 bones.

Again do your research before puking out stupidity on the web, it really makes you look like an idiot.

  • @obionecoyote Wow, They're actually moving foward in the Us?

    AMAZING,

They're still retarded enough to Use single over head cam Engines here In australia.

Let me guess, then Went all out and Fixed their First gear ratios too?

  • @obionecoyote Wait A second... 5000 cc V6?

    LOL!?

  • @BucketheadWraith

    V6 is a 3.7; 0-60 5.4 and 1/4 13.5

    V8 is a 5.0; 0-60 4.6 and 1/4 12.8

Do they not have Mustangs in AUS?

  • @obionecoyote

You can import them but that's kind of pointless.

    The only ford or holden/Gm

    I'd own Is A ford XR6Turbo.

  • Definitely, you will lose weigh by removing the blue tooth

  • This car is truly designed for developing countries.

Hyundai will attract people to steal things design, you may be in developed countries.

  • lets just wait., hope that your Chevrolet and ford keeps up the thrill and don't end up like them hummer and pontiacs

  • too bad the idiot didnt realize the 6-speed tranny wasnt added, that comes standard in all manual gen coupes

  • A Korean car is slow. It is cheap and Poor. that style is ugly.

  • honday ?

    Why cannot you pronounce Hyundai?

  • @biyorkman

ha ha ha ha Honda+Y....make it Honday. really funny!

  • Now if they sort out the bag of rocks in the seats ride, I would buy one. It does everything else well, but not want to make this a daily driver. I like this car, affordable, well equipped, quick great handling car. Just fix the ride, and take the peoples money who are smiling at a perfect great value.

  • People will rip on Hyundai all day long, but the story here is that because Hyundai is sneaking around the side with this "affordable performace FR car" Honda and Toyota will have to answer with their own models; so in the end, Hyundai is helping us get the new "Boxer-powered Celica" and something to keep the S2000 company on Honda's frontline.

  • @HalfBreedMix Yeah, yeah, I know, the FT-86 from Toyota is "the new AE86" and not "the new Celica"; however, from a marketing standpoint, Toyota will pitch the new car right at the "Celica crowd". Reason is, not everybody is an Initial-D fanboy or Gear-head. "So,,,It has 2 doors and is smaller than that lame Solara, so it's the new Celica" says Joe-blow.

  • Great Car!

  • i do agree with sdlausen since its more practical than their competition and you get more for your money

  • is this a v6?

  • I don't like Hyundai cars but when I saw this car on the road I didn't know what it was. I do think it looks nice .

  • well u can still get a manuel trans even if u dont have a r-spec so....

  • well u can still get a manuel trans even if u dont have a spec so....

  • Where do they get these guys? "But they are already following it up with... a PERFORMANCE version." Enthusiast version is the better phrase.

So surely this means that the 2.0 and 3.8 track models are NOT performance models I guess.

  • I heard this was a real tuner's car

  • I love this car

  • Only cars that can compete with Hyundai/Kia is Porsche, from 2010 models , on mid lx level , Fk BMW, on reliability

Japan's outdated Tech' can not even come close to super modern manufacturing facilities of Hyundai, entire complex is a giant computer circuit , level of quality control is unprecedented, materials & metallic durability surpass any other contenders..

Ps, To fart a bit of drag race point,, brawn idiots throw away practical economy , 2~3 years ago is ancient to K-cars

  • crazyorangefool

Yeah and only fags drive jap and CANADIAN cars like u! ^^

  • and Miata's while bumping Techno and drinking Zima's too right? :-P

  • ppl who buy this car are going to do the obvious to add power, turbo swap. ive seen one make 380whp on just a turbo swap and some tuning.

  • yea real world shops...

Just with a few bolt on's and dyno tune, it made 221.93 horsepower and 291.67 lb-ft of torque to the wheels. that's 2.0T

Dumbfuck get ur facts straight before you talk next time

  • brilliant idea...you remove weight and options and it actually costs LESS...Ferrari, Lamborghini, take a hint from Hyundai >.>

  • haha....sure...im sure ferrari and lambo are worried about hyundai

  • what is the difference between the 3.8 and the 3.8 track packages???

  • @sahzookey. big chanes are 19" wheels vs18". six piston brembo brakes, limited slip dif, stiffer suspension, and a full off ESC button. that is the real changes between the 3.8 GT and the 3.8 Track. if your not planning on racing this car go with the 3.8 V6. if your just doing track days, and commuting take the V6. if your going to race the car take the r-spec, and upgrade the engine with all the money you can spare and have fun! (full info hyundaiusa[dot]com)

  • The ESC turns fully off on mine. :p I don't have the track pack :p

  • nope. even when you trun the ESC off, it is still on to like 20 or 30% just to help keep you out of trouble. and really you have to be an advanced racer to really tell when it is helping you from killing your self.

  • I drive mine as a DD in alaska, I think I would know when its stepping in :p.

  • Rev limiter maybe? :p

  • and no i'm not talking about Anti Lock Brakes. I'm talking about the Electronic Stability Control. and stop using ":p"

  • Or are you referring to the ABS? If so, then yes, that is always on :p... As with ANY production car :p

  • ok, i'm a Hyundai Gold Tech, and when i did the new model class with the Coupe i asked the instructor if the Traction control could be turned off, and he told me that only the 2.0T track and the 3.8V6 Track could turn the ESC to full off, the other version of the Coupe (GT and base) had the "off" button but it would be like 20 or 30%. now that was like two months before the car was delivered to dealers so that could have changed by now.

  • Then can you describe what happens when its supposedly off? The ESC on hyundais is a fairly rudimentary system as far as systems go.

If it does stay on as you say, then I wouldn't have issues gaining traction on iced roads when I turn it off, as well as going sideways in an empty parking lot.

And if you are a hyundai gold tech, then you can tell me what the hyundai service site is.

  • Was your instructor talking about the sadan?

I searched through the shop section for the BK and says nothing about it being partially disabled.

  • convertible whoud be nice.

  • vash is just racist against any non-American cars......

  • vash is back at it again...his poon hurt too much to keep quiet....it's that time of the month for him...please excuse his feminine discharge syndrome

  • Does it still have the same seats as the other models?

  • @zapatos123123 shut up fag.

    U R TEH NOOOOOBZ!!

  • It has cloth seats! Thats n00b tastic

  • I like these small turbo engines, great fun, responsive, and economical. Wish they had more cars like that in the US, especially with RWD like this one.

  • vashthethird

    you are a complete loser

  • Impressive! Honda and Toyota are way out of their league when it comes to sports cars. All of their current models cater to the Avg American consumer, which ='s BORING, slow and BIG. Just look at the new Hondas. They have no sport cars what so ever. Even the Accord is a land yacht. Nissan is still on track but with nothing really too affordable. I thank Hyundai for making this car. They have filled the gap that was otherwise non existent.

  • If you can't afford a Nissan sport car right now you don't make enough money to justify BUYING one.

  • The entry Z is around 32k. That's a lot for some people.

  • 29K$ and yea, those people DON'T need to be buying a sporty car at all

  • OMG, you don't need to buy a sport car. What the hell do you think the mustang, challenger, 370z, and camaro are? Hell, they are cheap sports car so people can afford them. Go buy a real sports car like a Z06, Gt, Enzo, Bugatti. Blah blah blah. These all are cars meant for you to obtain performance without the extra 10,20,30,40+k. So why in the world would it be any different from a car with a price range as the other "sporty cars".

  • I think you mean exotic.. Not everyone can afford million dollar cars...

  • Exotic is nothing, but an overpriced sports car. When you want to search for a car what do you search for on an official car buying website? The term "exotic" does not exist in the car marketing world. It is Sports and sports only. You'll find z06,gt,Enzo,bugatti all under sports car category. They'll all be placed as a sports car on insurance to.

  • Yea, they ARE cheap and the fact that people are PRAISING an INFERIOR car for being CHEAPER is my point.

The Genesis is slower, it's cheaper, and it's worse. If you're like MOST genesis fanfag buyers you'll end up buying a base 2.0T and yelling TUNERRZZZZZ everywhere to justify buying a 1,500$ exhaust for a 5 hp gain.

If you can't fork over the extra 5-10K$ for a fully loaded BETTER car, then you don't need to be buying one.

  • Why in the hell would i buy the 2.0t. If i did i would buy the base model and no more. Only the fools go out and buy the premium and track 2.0ts. They're to dumb to realize both those trims are priced over the 3.8 base.

This comes down to people who want a sports car and people who want to add mods to cars. If you want a car and you feel its decent you have no need to fork over the extra cash, but tuners in my mind are completely illogical.

  • Its stupid. 2.0t cost more than 3.8 base, and then they have the nerve to only drag race and modify it to beat a 3.8t. 95lbs can not and will justify the huge power diff between the 2.0t and 3.8 base. This goes back to previous arguments btw. Trims are set to be economic. To be able to buy the car with what you want and don't want. I think you're placing me with the tuner crowd. I have no plans to modify a car at all, but one day if i find time I just might. Mechanic school first

  • @Texarmageddon Im not trying to jump in your shit but its easier to make big hp numbers with a car that is already force inductioned or turbod\supercharged. The genesis has a reenforced block with forged internals and thats even with the base model. If you watch the aftermarket on this car they will gear most of there shit towards the 2.0t not saying all but around 75%. The 4b11 is a bad ass motor and its the same one in the EVO X.

  • @StampDat Im not so much against the 2.0ts Im against the 2.0track. i've also heard the turbo here doesn't go to far. Also, it's just the bottom that are shared nothing more really. i've already seen plenty of 500+whp 3.8s so who knows

  • @Texarmageddon Hey im not sure if you know this or not but the evo x and the genesis share tha same motor buddy its just detuned. and even if they shared the bottom end thats the most important aspect of a force induction car so thats not a little deal the heads may not be as worked up but its the same head. check it out for your self. the engine code for both is the 4b11.

  • @StampDat The evo is 4b11 and the Genesis is Theta.. The V6 gen is called lambda. believe me I know the engines.. I'm a genesis freak. Even if it was the same motor, they have different internals.. You can't just walk in tune it and expect the same gains as a Evo. The genesis isn't detuned, it is using lower grade internals. Hence, thats why they are able to sell for considerably lower price.

  • @Texarmageddon If i had the money, I'd trade my stang for a genesis..but i like my stang too much. lol

  • @Texarmageddon Yo im aint trying to argue wit you sir its just that the big difference in the 2 cars is the tune and the turbo set up. the genesis has a smaller less aggressive turbo. If you watch the people who have tuned them all they do is replace the stock turbo with a larger or the the same turbo on the evo and a aggressive tune. hell as far as internals the damn sonata has forged internals out the gate from a dealer and the same goes for the genesis also the have gurdlled blocks.

  • Do you even research vehicles? lol wow......

  • To each his own. Not everyone is a multi-millionare like you, douche-fag.

    Go die

  • lol butt hurt

  • @vashthethird

noob talkin shit, obviously u dont have a clue about sports cars

  • man this "vashthethird" guy is such a moron, lucky his account finally been suspended

  • @sdlausen really the term affordable is relative. Nissan makes the Altima Coupe which is better than this Hyundai. Also the G35. (Im assuming i dont need to tell you they are the same comany???) Honda has the Civic Si, which is a good car, along with the S2000 if you go back a few years......my point here is Hyundai is on the right track, but it still needs to prove itself.

  • @bergi85 Seriously? You think The Altima coupe is better than the Genesis? FYI, the Altima coupe is NOT even in competition with he Genesis. Altima coupe is FWD, Genesis is RWD. Totally different market. Once again, the Civic is is FWD! S2k is a 2 seat roadster, Genesis 5 seat coupe. You're matching cars that are either out of the price range, or no longer for sale. Only car you can compare the Genesis to is the Mustang, and Camaro, which are all starting at about 23k for RWD.

  • @sdlausen WOW you are really closed minded......of course i know they are FWD, but that doesnt mean that they can be put in the same sports coupe category. Ok if you are going to be really picky, like you are, then there is the Mazda RX-8, BMW 3 series, and 1 series, i noticed you didn't say anything about the infinity G series, so im assuming that one is a good alternative...my point here is that there are many alternatives to this unproven Hyundai. Maybe down the road it will be a good car.

  • @bergi85 You're not getting the point of my first statement which was in regards to Japanese auto makers. I know the Genesis is NOT a proven vehicle (I probably wouldn't buy one myself). Like I stated in my first statement, my point is that Hyundai, unlike Toyota and Honda, is making an effort to please the auto enthusiast crowd. Toyota has absolutely nothing! Honda has the Si, which isn't a sports car at all. 15.6 1/4 is slow and FWD which isn't for everyone. Honda/Toyota need to pick it up!

  • @sdlausen I agree with you that Toyota has lost most of its sports car segment. Lexus has filled a little bit of that with the IS series and the IS-F competing against M3, RS4, ect. But yes in that sense i agree with you Honda and Toyota need to get sport cars. There is rumor that Toyota is bringing back the Supra, but i havent heard much more than that.

  • @bergi85 Are you thinking of the Toyota FT86 that's coming out within the next year or two? If so, it's not a Supra replacement. Check it out on youtube.

  • @sdlausen That could be the one. Toyota is also working with Subaru in making a new car i heard might be called the Celica..... But that is rumor as well.

  • @bergi85 The FT86 concept is the one. It's also the car Toyota partnered with Subaru to make. They haven't unveiled the Subaru variant yet though. Also, the FT86 has been approved for production which is awesome. No one is sure if it will bare the Celica name or not. Time will tell.

  • @sdlausen That's very interesting, I hope that the FT86, or whatever they end up calling it, will be a good car to compete with other sports cars out there. And if Hyundai's Genesis ends up being a proven sports car then that is good.

  • @sdlausen

Honda and Toyota's main goal is to build economy cars because that's what drives sales. Hyundai is behind in that department so they had to pull something out of their ass to attract attention, and they did just that. But seriously, if Honda really wants to make a sportscar it'll be light years ahead, look at their F1 record.

  • @dunkchamp Are you an idiot? Do you know anything about Hyundai than just stuff you read from other on you tube? Besides the Genesis the rest of Hyundai's cars all get outstanding gas mileage. I don't have any idea where you get your facts from but get them right. Also why would you try to talk trash about MPH on a sports car video? Most people on here will go to sleep before they even read your nonsense...

  • I ment MPG.

  • @bkbaughn Not to be a dick, but MPG plays a huge role in our cars. Sport cars suffer from it as well. If they don't meet the standards guess who gets gas guzzler taxes. Prices go up or production goes down. one of the other. Sorry, i said this I just feel our gov is playing us(america) and is aiming to shoot the sport segment down.
