OhBeeg1BanjoV may not like it, but human creativity is linked to the mimicry section of the brain, so i am completely certain that all that Tommy Emmanuel plays is influenced by any type of music he has ever heard. He absolutely puts his own unique and refreshing spin on things, and is undoubtedly an amazing guitar player, but he has influences as well i am sure

I think that you may be being a little harsh. Chet did his thing, great as it was. Tommy is doing his. Yhey are both maestro's. Music evolves.
