This guy is a creative genius. Weirdest, funniest, most bizarre act ever, but my God can he play. I will never again judge a man by the type of KFC bucket he chooses to wear on his head, or by the decapitated-hand-puppet-head he uses to communicate his feelings.
@ShadowGuard95 He didn't play Tenacious D, He played Bach...Also considering Tenacious D hadn't even thought of making a song out of Boureé in e-minor when this was recorded
@MrKetfo You didn't even watch the whole video did you? You haven't even heard half of Buck's albums, have you? Listen to Machete, or She Sells Sea Shells by the Slaughterhouse, or A Real Diamond in the Rough, to name a few songs, just do it. Because not listening to Buckethead's more beautiful songs is seriously missing out. He is an extraordinary talent, he just employs a wide variety of styles and feelings to express a full sense of a human being. Including sense of humor and quirkiness.
Gasp! Now i know why Jimi Hendrix died in 1970! He went into brian carroll's body when brian was only 1, to become an even better guitarist than he was... and created a weird persona so no one would be able to figure it out... IT ALL MAKES SENSE!
hate to tell big buckethead fans but i just let a huge fart that plays better than this amorphous genderless hack.please recomend something by this[guy?]that might change my mind.i mean,is [he?]a bible thumping holy roller or what?i dont get it but im trying....
@104sezdadevil I would say just listen to a bunch of his songs, he's got songs for just about everyone. fast, slow, experimental, indescribable.....just youtube "Buckethead" and start listening if you want, maybe you'll find something you like.
@itamoose the guy from dragon force is shit, buckethead is in a different leauge, the dragonforce solo is sped up on computers, the guy can't do it live
I would have to disagree with you. I mean have you seen or heard any of his new stuff? He's obviously progressed exponentially as a guitar player. I was also in no way putting him down; I was just merely admiring how far he's come as a musician. Compared to how he plays now, he was bit sloppy here ;)
I wasn't talking about musicality, I was talking about technicality. His shredding has really watered down since his younger days. He is too fond of that Paul Gilbert pattern. I went to a Buckethead concert (which was fucking awesome), but he used that pattern at least 200 times. in his younger days he was a bit more creative with the shredding aspects.
