Alec was great, provably the less talented of them but it fitted perfectly in the band. What happened we don´t know, there are rumours but we won´t ever know the truth. Just one little thing, don't blame Jon about kick him out of the band, richie and alec did not get on pretty well each other and I heard richie bullshiting about alec quite hard in a youtube video so, It seems to me that Jon had to make a desition too hard during a very delicated moment in the band's career.

People its ok to have an opinion, but there are things unsaid that we dont know about, YES Jon let him go but i am so sure he had his reasons, i dont think he fire him for just one over night mistake...definitely he had a BIGGER reason, he is not head over heels or anything, they were good friends but you cant let a good friend screw up your band just because his a friend and you love him....sorry but that is not how it works and Jon is a Professional PERIOD.

bon jovi should get rid of Hugh McDonald leave him in Utah, get rid of the other guitar player, Get ALEC JOHN SUCH back get back to just the 5 of them without the touring musicians. Just the 5 of them for the 2013 studio album/tour, by then it would be 20 years since Alec was in the band.

You would think play guitar is more difficult then playing bass. But I dont play the bass. So how could anyone make mistakes playing the bass? I grew up listening to this band. Am 36 now. And play guitar. I love this group and other guitar and keyboard bands. Alec is only human. Like the other members never goofed before. C'mon. John's ego has gotten so big. He thinks he's bigger than God himself.
