@unholyslaughter1 No, this is for internal aid only. (software/virus etc) Your issue is physical. If it was in the rain there is most likely water inside. Take it apart and put it in a bag of uncooked rice for a while(3 weeks). Hope this helped

@timini1000 Hey man, is a desktop am using, The backgroud with the fish is when i was using the laptop but i was not getting through, so later down in the video you will see the background with a red design, thats a desktop , i went to use it when i reconise that the laptop cant do the job.

1. Download the Oldest OS for ur bb, then follow the video, you must get through.

Note, some laptops work but not all

It comes to wait for device initialization then a popup appearss and it says Connection Prompt, my device was disconnected somehow, I tried it at 3 pc's and it all the pc's gave the same problem, I have a blackberry bold 9000 and I am sure that is it nuked.

If the usb not reading the phone it wont work, There is a possibility that the usb port on the phone is damaged, carry to a technician and see if he can fix the port for u then try the repair process

I got that same error as you when i was trying to use an update version of the OS to repair the BB, you will keep getting that error. you need to download the original OS that came on the BB to repair it.

I managed to get my hands on a blackberry 9000 and i have tired everything possible to restore the phone but nothing i do is working. The problem with the phone is, it's not turning on but when connected to the computer it keeps restarting non-stop. I tired restoring the phone without the battery attach and yet nothing happened. When connected to the computer, red light comes on and then the screen comes up with the battery icon showing up as charging and that is it. it then keeps restarting HLP
