  • Nuu. Don't go.. :'(

  • To confuse all: There was a time where the Hammersmith & City Line was a Metropolitan branch, but already served by C stock.

  • Poor A stock train I love A stock train AWWWW

  • MORE LIKE......... A trip with Jim and Dennis to cover the *whole* of the Metropolitan line on A Stocks before they are replaced by the SHITE Stock.

  • I love U A stock train Rest in Peace

  • I went to a lecture about the S stock a while back, and people in the audience who are, apparently, 'in-the-know' were moaning that the new trains not only have less seats than the A stock, but those they DO have feel as though they're made of concrete.......

  • @keithspillett Not just concrete: plastic more like. The A Stock were PROPER trains.

  • Im going to CRY

  • are they scrapped

  • S stock train is going to miss the Farther A stock train. S stock train loves his father A stock train since he play.

  • Is there anything we can do. will they all be replaced ?

  • Love you A stock train.

  • I love you I love you A stock I love you A stock train I love you A stock train.

  • I love you I love love love love you A stock train i love you I love you A stock train.

  • I LOVE YOU A60 STOCK TRAIN.

  • I love you A60 stock train LOVE YOU LOVE YOU our Blessing A60 stock train.

  • I will give flowers for a stcok

  • I love you A stock train Love you Can i have just one car on each train thanks.

  • The S stock train is similar to the A60 stock.

  • I love you A stock train.

  • A60 stock is working so hard in the 1960s. but the baby s stock train is now all grown up and ready for s stock to make new friends to the tube trains.

  • I love you A60 stock train. I LOVE U said the Baby S stock train and D78 stock the Wife. We say Farewell to the Husband A60 stock train. AAWWHH.

  • Poor S stock's Father A60 is going to say farewell love you so much by S stock train GOOD LUCK said A60 stock train to the S stock.

  • are you going to the funeral then Mr Multicartoon?

  • I'm going to miss The A-Stock. Northwood Hills was my local station and I can remember when I was about 5 standing there and watching them go by.

  • Ahh, Chesham, my local station. It will be a sad day when the A stock and the Chesham shuttle disappear. They certainly have served London well so lets hope most of the units go into preservation. Great video also

  • I heard about the replacement of the A Stock. How sad

  • They're doing away with the shuttle altogether. Once the S-Stock arrives it shall happen.

  • What is the purpose of the center rail?

  • These are actually supposed to be 4-rail trains. 2 for the voltage, one at a negative voltage and one at a positive to give the PD of 600v or w/e.

  • I wouldnt say its too eary they will all be gone by 2012 A60s have served us all well..

  • isn't it a bit early to be saying your farewells to the a stock? the s stock aren't coming for a few years

  • Just to clarify all of the above:- The correct TRC formation is in fact 2 x cravens 1960 TUBE stock driving motor cars (not Cravens A stock surface cars) which were identical (before modifications) to the cravens driving motor cars that are preserved by Cravens Heritage Trains.. plus 1 1973 stock trailer car kitted out with all the TRC gear. Why is this called farewell to the A sock.. it's still running by the way!

  • Thanks for the info. It was a farewell to the A stock as we were in the area, they're going at some point, and I never go up there anyway! lol

  • They're going in 2013

  • @metadyneman What does TRC mean?

  • @Biraphile Track Recording Coach

  • @metadyneman Thanks for that :-)

  • Track recording unit?

Wasn't that the 1960 tube stock?

  • TRC is two 1973 tube stock driving motor's and a special unit in the middle called TRC666- I think the 1960 stock unit you are thinking of is the Central line's East End Sandite train.

  • yes it is, i saw it at victoria on the district line

  • that wernt the TRC thats the ECS movement from the ELL

  • I'm afraid it was a 4 car unit standing in for the TRC. It was wired up inside and we saw it all over the Met - Watford, Uxbridge, Amersham.
