Captain Marvel was once a part of Marvel, but DC sued for the rights to Captain Marvel because he looks too much like Superman (which is true). So, DC won Captain Marvel.
Dr. Doom is the villain for The Fantastic Four, which is under Marvel Comics.
Also, I laughed out loud when Cheetah scratched the table, because it was soooo god damn random.
I'm surprised they picked Scarecrow as a villain for a kid's show like this, considering he pretty much uses fear itself as a weapon. At least with Joker, you dumb down his circus props for the kiddies. I don't remember the show, so I wonder how they handled the Scarecrow's fear gas?
Maybe the producers just said "Fuck the children" and did what they did in Batman: Arhkam Asylum; scare the shit out of the viewer.
So does every roll call include each member jacking up the legion of doom in some way? Do thier expenses include weekly countertop repair? That's a bloated organization right there. They're never going to get anywhere with that attitude.

Criminals see themselves simply as businessmen, or otherwise try to justify their actions, and some of the most evil people see themselves as good and their opponents as evil. Almost nobody calls himself evil and his opponents good. That may appear to work in kids' cartoons, but not in real life.
WHY is Brainiac working under Luthors leadership? In JLU they fused and were both leader, in DC Universe Online Brainiac was the greatest evil and Luthor, among all other heroes and villains had to fight him!
God, this brings back memories, watching this on UHF as a kid. Two questions, if anyone knows: is Captain Cold the same person as Mr.Freeze? Seems kind of weird they'd have two so similar characters. And the other question: wasn't there another villain in the Legion who had like a flat head, and I think he was made of sort of like rocks, but you could see his face? I remember older kids imitating him by putting their schoolbags up on their heads. Can't remember his name, but he was scary.
@MckyMseNTarotCrds I just did a Google images search, and I think the villain I was thinking of was Copperhead, so I guess it was scales, not rocks. I'm still not a hundred percent sure though. I couldn't find any pics where he looks exactly like what I was remembering. It's probably him though: this was like, over twenty years ago....but if anyone thinks of anyone that it may be let me know. It's probably Copperhead though.
@MckyMseNTarotCrds Unlike Mr. Freeze who had a doctorate & was the victim of a lab accident, Captain Cold started out as a regular guy who loved riding in his grandpa's ice cream truck as a child and fell into a life of crime due to a crappy childhood. The ice gimmick sort of grew out his obsession with cold from his childhood memories.
He's also in the villain business for the money & the women.
This was one of the best incarnations from the Superfriends package with the Challenge of the SuperFriends because you had the villians from each superhero aligned together as one evil force: The Legion of Doom. OMG.
Man they just broke shit lol. But the sound effects when Riddler unfurled them glossies had me laughing lol.
