@cruelfishy Thats what I loved about Digimon. The characters were so fleshed out and they had many dimensions to them. Tai felt like a jerk sometimes but you knew his character just wanted to save everyone. It was always about the team to him.

This is episode is one of the main reasons I love this show. The relationship between the siblings. Tai and Kari, Matt and TK, and Ken and his deceased brother Sam in season 2. Their interactions with each other and the way they influence their lives is just great.

Going back and rewatching this from the first episode, I realize how this whole show pretty much has an absence of plot up until 5 episodes back from this one. I mean, what was the plot up until that? Destory the vile digimon on inifinty mountain? Then after that, the old man gives huge sects of info on the real plot and then they relate that to an even more immense plot involving the real world and how the digimon are coming into it...
