I like how it says "Uncensored," ...and all that is censored normally is when it says, "I hope it hurts like *hell*" Such a good band. I wish they had more music. FIF too...
@Jamesharris144 GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! Five Iron Frenzy just raised $207,980 (all fan donated) to record a new album and tour and stuff (Their actual goal was only $30,000)
I reluctantly like this song. She really did a number on this guy. Its always easier on women. They just jump from one guy to the next. They don't know what it is like to be kicked to the curb and alone. Just my opinion of course.
Reese has never been one to pull punches lyrically. Just listen to FIF's The End is Near album if you need proof. He's no different in this band, but...yikes. He and his bands have one of the strongest testimonies in Christian music and something like this, while bluntly honest, is likely to hurt that a little. Still, since FIF's demise I think this band will stay for a while just so we can hear more of Reese and friends.
@pyreball because he said hell?! I doubt it. And if it does, I don't think it's them that needs to change, it's Christians in general. People get so uptight over a stupid word. Like a pastor in church said, "I think the people dying of hunger in africa is a bunch of shit. And right now just about in this room is more concerned about me saying shit than the starving people in africa"
@PhoenixPhire22 It doesn't take much for Christians to dump a band, and they don't have a notable secular following, so losing their primary fanbase would kill them, and that would suck all kinds of nads. Reese and his crew are far too talented for the industry to lose.
I've never heard the uncensored version of this song! I bought the CD on their store months ago, but never got the uncensored versions.
Could you put up uncensored versions of "Enamel" and "Heart Still Beats" in pure MP3 format? I simply can't find this song in a form that I can put on my iPod...

Great great song by an even greater band. Helped me through a bad breakup. I know it may be blasphemy to some, but I may even prefer BSS to FIF.

@jjjay999 Same... Never a fan of FIF but I heard of this "side project" recently and I have to say, I like it a lot.

I never thought a christian band would have an uncensored version of a song

@alexolsennavarro They are a band of Christians, nto a Christian band. Consider the difference, and which might be the nobler. ;)

@Kratosauron0 Because he says the word "hell"? Maybe there is more lyrical symbolism in the word hell, rather than just saying it for fun. ;)
