Hi so u know there bows are wierd they never show up but they always have a weak junky one even if u give them a stronger one they hardly ever swap out there bow.Lydia and any other follower will equip stuff u give them only if its better then what they already got.U cant take there base gears.U can use her as a pack mual to get more treasure.1 arrow is enough they can shoot infinite so u dont need to give them more then 1. Last thing *coughs* didnt see u beating that frost troll without her :P.

For those that don't yet know, your followers default items do not show up in the menu (I'm guessing so you don't take everything off of the followers you perverts), but she is wearing armor (steal armor). I think they equip armor that you give them as long as it's an upgrade though, but they will not wear anything over their default. Lydia has steel armor. On a side note, Lydia has unlimited (I think iron) arrows and I heard you can give her 1 arrow that's better and she has unlimited of it.
