This movie is literally the best hope I have for the future. It is a perfect representation of the character V. He has no identity because he does not need one. Guns are not a good idea in a closed environment, just like knives are bad in a medium-long range fight. In a tight place, the gun usually goes to whoever wants it more.

That hissing, whistling noise V's knives make is wicked awesome, especially that last hit when he steps up nose-to-nose with the guy then whirls away.

I really admire the fight choreography in this scene. For stunt double, David Lynch, the mask drasticly hindered both peripheal and downward perception,still he pulls it of nicely. Lynch is a huge Bruce Lee fan and incorporated Lee's JKD (derived from Wing Chun) in addition to Filipino styles(practiced by Lee's protige Dan Inosanto) like Kali, Arnis, Silat...

I really admire the fight choreography in this scene. For stunt double, David Lynch, the mask drasticly hindered both peripheal and downward perception,still he pulls it of nicely. Lynch is a huge Bruce Lee fan and incorporated Lee's JKD (derived from Wing Chun) in addition to Filipino styles(practiced by Lee's protige Dan Inosanto) like Kali, Arnis, Silat...
