This video doesn't do her justice, a couple of years ago a friend lent me a tape of her dancing on LBC and it really showcased her skills. She went for 2 hours straight without getting tired plus her style is so unique, I wish I knew how to upload it cuz i still have the tape. Anyway, I think entrances are her "thing", in the one I have her grand entrance is off a hot air balloon!
I hope with the passage of time you have learnt what belly dancing is, and I hope you now wish you could eat that negative comment you wrote about a truly stunning performance.
I think everyone is entitled to their opinion,lol about a person from the land of "authentic Bellydancers"not understanding that growing up in a western free society free speech and free opinion is a given and no reason to be irritated.Those authentic dancers make alot of money from the tourist trade and western appreciation of this dance art.
I am from Texas and have been around county and western dancing all my my life , I still would say I can not dance it very well , so I do not think just because she is from Lebanon she should be a great dancer .

I got that video from a 1995-Festival, too. I thought her name is Mirey or Mireille, malish. The dancer is a lebanese model-beauty knowing and using it well. I admire her for the skill being sexy in an oriental way. Her dancing (if you watch her whole routine) is pretty poor with respect of her origin and her Status (professional dancer at a big Festival in Lebanon).
