for all u people out there:

the 256 by 256 is the best version and ur PC or mac has be like 8 gigs of ram

the 128 by 128 is still detailed but u can tell it isnt as much as the 256 and ur pc has to be 4 gigs or higher

for the computer users like me who hav a 2 gig pc , then i suggest getting the worst version, the 64 by 64 version, but if ur computer is well taken care of and the graphics card is good then u might be able to get away with the 128 by 128 version, but u might see some lag,

@MrGeo044 This isn't right. I have 4 gigs of ram and run 256 by 256 EASY. I set Java ram to 2GB too. By default, Java doesn't can't use much of your ram at all. However, when looking ingame at the f3 menu, I see that the texture pack actually only uses about 600MB of the 2GB that I allocated to Java. Clearly, you are off if your statement. You probably just don't know that Java uses a small percentage of your Ram by default. So if you don't change any settings, then yes, you need 8GB ram.
