Messi doesnt have as many hat tricks for Barcelona because he started his career there, so he obviously wasnt as good for about the first two-three years. Ronaldo wasnt doing those things at the beginning of his career in Portugal. Messi at one point this season scored two hat tricks in two games that xavi/iniesta played in neither.
