Life is unjust and very fucking. This band are a jewel of band and much better than Green Day and other groups so unfairly devoted to the masses. Shit: I think Hard Ons are comparable to my Ramones idolatry.
I grew up on Hard-Ons in the UK - finally saw them in 2007 at the Joe Strummer tribute night at the Gaelic, they were pretty ferocious actually, anyone else see that? Thanks for putting up these vids, this is just about my favourite album
@SirPaulMcFuckhead Me too!! Saw by 'accident' as they were supporting the stupids in april 87. We were at the front and thought they were the roadies for the stupids. Did an awesome set. The crowd were singing the neighbours theme at the end. Well funny! Got dickcheese a few weeks later and got countless other albums. They were a big part of my life for about five years solid. Saw a clasic gig in Leeds 91. Sound, songs, crowd - all f'kin amazing. Many, many happy memories!
@thomasmichael1 I was at that gig with the Stupids, they were from my town of Ipswich in England, only caught up with them for the few days they were in Sydney, Tommy was 2 years below me at school, as was ed. 1st time I'd seen Hard ons, convert from that day on! Wasn't it april 88, not sure. I remember coming off a skateboard drunk and smashing my head. Brilliant fucking gig!
@cfcuker you are right, it was april 88!! so you travelled from ipswich to leeds for that gig? Thought the hard ons blew the stupids away. seen that a few times eg MOD much better than Suicidal tendancies in 89. as i said, saw Hard ons in either 90 or 91 and it was awesome. saw em about a year or two later and the sound was crap and they knew it. never the same after keish left. as hard as blackie tries, singing was never his strong point.
@thomasmichael1 i saw em play with the ramones in 88. adelaide australia. my 1st ever concert i was bout 13 then and left that gig with permanent hearing damage
great band herd them in 86-87 on college radio when I was 15 ..they have influenced so many bands and one of the early bands with the so called grunge sound and thrash (amongst other musical styles ) a great band they have a new CD coming out sometime this year ...........
the best things are the simplest ones..masters of 3 riffs.

@Hdpyou wonder if the hard-ons would've gone down the same u-bend of absolute toilet like green day if they had found fame?
