As a teenager, in the 80/90's, and a drummer since age 8, came across warrant, thanks to my mate and guitarist at the time, your music, so inspiring on so many levels, never forget our band at the time, ripping out "Mr rainmaker" and people coming up to us after, asking " what song was that? it rocked!" and was more than happy to say "warrant". I got to meet you guys, and still have my "D.R.F.S.R" LP signed by you all, Your in a better place now mate, and your music will live on forever!

Great job on this! I had never heard this song actually.. I feel bad that I never heard it but all of the radio stations in my town went to country in the early 90s and they took mtv away from us because the religious ppl bitched. I am truly devastated about Jani's death. I met him in Branson, Mo in 1998. He was a very nice guy and oh so talented. I will never forget him.. I love how you put pics of his family on here.. I spent some time with him for a few minutes back in 95 after a concert, and he took me on a tour of there tour bus. He was a very talented and down to earth nice guy. I have since lost the autograph but not the memory. God speed my friend. See you in Heaven

@Edlewis66 It has not come out yet how he passed. I do know the Comfort Inn hotel where he died in LA, is well known amongst addicts, hookers and other people of that sort. I know Jani struggled with alcoholism over the years. I don't know if he was in to hard drugs or not.... I imagine it will all be out soon along with morgue photos, the media has no respect for anyone or anything man , ya know what I am saying.

I play his acoustic songs to friends of different ages and musical taste.They enjoy it and are surprised to here it’s a guy from an “80’s” band.
