@MrDomburger Well, earlier when they first encountered the mermaids one of the pirates said that it was rumored that a mermaids kiss allowed men to breath under water. Right before she pulled him into the water with her near the end she kissed him. I like to think he's with her somewhere X_X

@MrDomburger I dnt know what they are going to do, but he reminds me of this pirate that really existed. There was this missionary who was sailing somewhere and the ship was taken by pirates. They spared him only while every one else was killed. He later became a pirate captain, and was very successful in the Caribbean. He was said to lead church services on his ship on sunday mornings or after a pilage.... haha maybe they're going to make that connection because he matches up so far:)

@taymoorlang I got it.. at the part where Blackbeard was at White Camp Bay, Scrum told them that a kiss from a mermaid allows you to breathe underwater, Hence when Syrena ask for forgiveness she kissed the missionary to help him heal the wounds with the help from the mermaids.

Even Rotten Tomatoes called her out for average acting that got great in some areas and others it seemed like she was going through the strides.

We can disagree on looks if you like, I prefer intelligent women anyways. And that's all just opinion so w/e.

But acting-wise Keira blows Penelope out of the water.

And undoubtedly Depp and Rush are the best actors in the series.

For the movie Penelope had the better look. I just think in general she's not as good looking. That's probably why she fits the role.

But she sounds pretty unintelligent in interviews and her acting is nowhere near as good.
