Today I heard that Sarah Palin called into Rush Limbaugh's radio show. On that program she made the statement that she has nothing to loose and will continue to slam Obama evey times she's at a rally. To me this is the height of hypocrisy. I also heard last evening that there is some confussion about the contractor that built the big arena and the Palin house. Seems it is the same contractor that worked for Ted Stevens the indicted senior senator from Alaska. I was raised in a 'traditional family' with seven kids. My Dad worked many hours overtime. I remember getting my first coat (~10yo) that wasn't a hand-me-down! I also heard last evening that there is some confussion about the contractor that built the big arena and the Palin house. Why hasn't Obama stuck this dagger into the heart of the McCain campain? I think he is just biding his time or perhaps if McCain keeps burying himself, he may not even have to.

McCain's largest contributor gave 50 million$ to the same board Ayers sat on. The same board everyone is bitching about Obama being a member of...So McCain accepts money from people who support this "known terrorist" as well..makes ya think don't it..

Obama got his political start with ayers, served on boards with him and only tried to distance himself when it became news. Getting money from a third person is different from direct support from the candidate.
The closest thing you could hope for was if Mccain supported (directly) an abortion clinic bomber.

And tax time is more then once a year dear.More and more taken from the paycheck every week. Since Bush has been in office the cost of living has skyrocketed.Shouldn't the lower middle class have more of a break then on April 15th? I don't know about you, but most people can't live the year on what we DO get as a return.

Hmm..and McCain taxing Health care is going to help bunches.I will take the tax break on for the under class then a tax break for the upper class any day...Well..McCain does seem to have the diluted idea that middle class INCLUDES those making 500,000$ a year.Silly of me to think someone who supports that out of touch view would understand what it's like to live on a fixed income. I agree in part, $500,000 isn't middle class.
I am on a fixed income.
I was raised in a 'traditional family' with seven kids. My Dad worked many hours overtime. I remember getting my first coat (~10yo) that wasn't a hand-me-down! I worked in our garden from earliest memory, without it we would have been a lot worse off. I remember getting Government cheese and everything too.

If prices go up everyone feels it, but the poor feel it more. So why raise taxes on producers that result in higher prices?
Is it the Government's job to make sure everyone has enough to eat and a place to sleep?
Not unless you want a Socialist/Communist society.
Private groups should care for the poor (to some extent).

I love how privatising government is great when it comes to money and health care..yet when it comes to the personal choices of our bodies and our bedrooms, government intervention is justified. I love how conservatives preach privatization, but when the privileged need a bail out, socialism IS justified. And I'm dumbfounded you would support a party that wants nothing but to make the lives of people like your father that much harder.

It infuriates me when people WITH money bitch about having to invest in their country by paying taxes, yet those without money are supposed to just deal with it. It's that one sided view that's driven us as a country in the ground. No issues at all living off the backs of the working class but quick to jump ship when their trust funds are in jeopardy. Funny how Clinton had a surplus and Bush can't hold on to a dollar...Liberals must have done something right.

Aw...sorry if I can't sympathize on my 25,000$ a year income, supporting a family of 4...McCain plans on raising our taxes too..just in the guise of his health care plan, which will not only cause more finacial hardship on families like mine, but cause some of us to loose our coverage all together.
