  • Love that shot of the immobile, glum-looking audience... bit different to X-Factor-type audiences of nowadays.

  • Great record. Great on it's own merits, but also it reminds me of 'Hey Mr Rain' by the Velvet Underground. And there can't be too many previous comparisons between Cliff and the VU.

  • i love this song since 1990 and i was born in 1988 haha :D

  • -And The Shads!

  • The Real Cliff!

  • Great powerfull song by the great Cliff in his early years. I think it's a hell of a teddy boy song!! Rock on' Cliff !!

  • Rockabilly Cliff. Way to go

    Mikey xx

  • great song

  • This is one of the early songs that I really like... I was at the Cliff & Shads concert earlier this year (Brisbane) and this song sounded just as good live ... many thanks for posting !!... :-)

  • "I had two of those suits made in 1961. Different material, but same two button jacket, with 18" drape bottom trousers. Then winkle pickers to match."

  • 9 times out of 10... one of the greats by one of the greats

  • A Cliff classic. Played this recently at a concert. Lots of Cliff fans seemed like they never knew it. A Cliff song for the real purists I think. I love this song.

  • Sorry, but I didn`t see any adverse audience reaction at all!.

  • One of the best clips i've seen in a long time. The original greats Cliff and the Shads

  • This is brilliant.

CLIFFS a hell of a singer.

and the shadows with HANKS guitar licks are awsome.

  • Great Song ! what a groove beat ! one of the best by cliff and the Shadows

    Lior

  • At least they clapping their hands at the very end of Cliff's song.

  • The audience look really like Cliffs worst enemies lol. Most of them are probably dead now anyway. Anyone in the audience that is still alive please post a comment.

  • interesting how the audience did not accept this tune, i thought it was one cliffs better tunes.

  • Me too, a great rocker, however I only discovered it late as it wasnt on my first Cliff & Shads "hits" lps I bought in the early 80s and never got played. I think this was prejudice both when it was released and also in more modern times; it was released after the "beat boom" had took off so "old fashioned" r&r wasnt generally accepted as "hip" ??

  • awesome, thanks for sharing.
