@MrXMGMTx I'm to high to go back and look at my comment. I honestly can't remember what I put bahahaha. But really, if it was about liking the song, or the band, not at all. I loved them long before smoking. But if I said something else, sure. Let's go with that. xD
Ever since i bought transatlanticism, i overlooed such tracks like expo 86 and title and registration by being overshadowed by my love for tiny vessels and a lack of color. SILLY ME
I don't understand how DCFC can make such good music all the time. Every song they write sounds so unique and hits you with as much as beauty and intensity as the last
wouldnt your brothers sister also be your sister? therefore your sisters mother is your mother and her aunt is your great-aunt, therefore your Great-Aunt is David Babum, witch i doubt, because im pretty sure you have to be girl to be a aunt :/
5 years ago a girl, who was 12, was babysitting her little brother, who was 5, cause her parents were out. she was putting her brother to bed wen she heard the fone ring. she piked it up and a mans voice said "turn around" she did then she saw her hanged brother, and then she died. copy and paste on 5 videos in 10 minutes or you'll die mysteriously tomorrow at 6:59
i've known about death cab for a while, but haven't really listened to them. they're really good though! to me they're like the rock side of postal service.
DONT MIND ME I'M JUST SPREADING SOME AIDS you will die in seven days if you don't post this comment on at least 10 other videos in the next hour, if you do tomorow will be the best day of your life
They're great aren't they? If you like death cab then try The Airborne Toxic Event (their acoustic songs) , Jack Johnson, Snow patrol, and Interpol. those are all great Artists, they're Indie too, except for Jack Johnson, he's acoustic. but they're pretty similar to Death Cab
I like all those bands but honestly they are not like death cab haha I would say go with The Postal Service, because that is still Ben Gibbard. And most people who like Death Cab also like Bright Eyes, both deep and meaningful lyrics. and Jack Johnson is indie too
I don't think Jack Johnson should be included with these other 3 bands. Indie maybe, but more simple/acoustic/upbeat. Death Cab, Bright Eyes, and Postal Service are more symphonic.

I don't know what all that history stuff is. It seems to me that the song's about somebody who keeps getting back together with this girl, and she keeps hurting him over and over. The cycle never ends! And every time it gets worse. Poor guy.

The more I read Scripture, the more I am convinced that God's infinite wisdom is based on a love that knows and accounts for all ends. Every time I've questioned that, based on an innaccurate study of history, or on my unwillingness to let him influence my own life, it has been rooted in the arrogance that I know better than He does. The arrogance has nearly destroyed me more than once. Obedience, however, has come to make me happier and more fulfilled than I've ever been.
Frankly, however, there has been no political system ever attempted that has not resulted in the deaths of thousands, if not millions of lives. Democracy? Hundreds of thousands. Communism? Millions. Fascism? Millions. Theocracy? Hundreds of thousands, if not millions if taking Oriental culture into account along with Jewish and Arabic culture. And monarcy? The sum is to constant to even make an attempt at tabulation.
I agree with one thing Marks said and thats "religion is the opiate of the masses" I agree religion has killed more people than drugs and prostitution ever has. Quite possibly " CS Lewis said, the unrepentent preacher is more closer to hell than a prostitute."
Culminating with the destruction of the temple in 586 B.C., and their captivity under the Babylonians Israel's unfaithfulness was paid with millenia of foreign domination. You can call that whatever you like, but the fact of the matter is, if God is the center of a culture, when you take away God, the culture implodes. It's easy to be outraged at something. The logic of outrage is simple. It's based upon the ideas of what we would never do.

Considering that Israel was a theocracy at the time, if they had not committed themself to the destruction of those cultures, then their own religion would be contaminated, their link to God cut, and their ultimate destruction imminent. And, ironically, that's exactly what happened.
Murder, on the other hand, is never justified in Scripture. Deliberate murder is consistently punished. Even David, a man upon whom God's pleasure rested, had to pay the price for a murder he committed. But you're not talking about murder, you're talking war, about the complete and utter destruction of ancient civilizations that occupied the Promised Land. The logic behind utter annihililation is obvious and brilliant (militarily and politically), if the native culture is destroyed...
The term of service would only extend beyond those seven years if and only if the then slave would voluntary desire it. Western culture tends to associate the horrific bondage of modern history as the standard of slavery throughout the ages. Such an assumption is quite misinformed. Slaves had rights that were listed in the Pentateuch. They weren't the same rights as a free man, but if they were abused, they were to be set free. Not exactly the system that so horrifies us.
Odd that Mr. Federalist would call history trivial. Less odd that Mr. (ex)Christian would consider murder and slavery the legacy of the Bible. I'm assuming you're talking about the Pentateuch teachings on slaves and the early destruction of ancient cultures depicted therein? i kinda get why you would think that, as soon as you said preschool it kinda makes sense. if you think about kids sitting around a teacher on the carpet before recess or whatever.
That's odd...I don't really think I've ever completely listened to the lyrics before, and thought of them that way...I have a really sick mind. We'll put it that way.
Oh, I'm 15, but I developed my sick mind pretty early. One needs to start thinking like a pervert at a young age to always immediately switch to to a Quagmire point of view, rather than realizing the actual intent of meaning
That's funny, the Bible told me the most important thing was forgiveness, and then a bunch of people called me silly because I didn't agree with a bunch of trivial facts about history and geology and things.
