Hesitated between a bfg GTS250 and a card identical as yours.. finally went for the GTX . The shadow effects are definitly more clear and the graphics are smoother.. it's a beast to run though it kind of seems to slow my CPU dwn (i.e. slightly longer loading time) but it's still a bomb.. well worth it!

Some copies of DA: O come with a code to get one of the DLC content things free, otherwise you will have to buy them yes, from the official dragon age site...

They usually run about 8-10$ per DLC, depending on what it is.

just a question to anyone higher lvl than me ( im lvl 6) i have a dwarf warrior dual wield- but as ill lvl up can i pick skills from other categories(passive talents from other classes ; like sword and shield, warrior ect) ..or do i strictly stick to dual wield in my case so not to mess up the character?

Gah I wish the game looked better. Was hoping for visuals more like Oblivion. Oh wells the story more than makes up for it. And all you fanboys...PC>Consoles for BioWare games and especailly for a game like DragonAge.

In terms of lighting, shaders, and object textures not really..oh and trees and grass. The Trees and grass in Oblivion look far better than this game. But DA has amazing facial textures. BioWare always nails the facial textures for some reason.

Wait what? Only good game it has? I think you failed to realize the PS3 in its 3 years on the market has more AAA rated exclusives (90+/100 scored EXCLUSIVE PS3-Only games) than any console in history except the ps2 and maybe the PSONE/N64. Did you also know Uncharted 2, a PS3 exclusive has an average score of 97 on Metacritic,higher than any other exclusive on a another console? Did you also know, MGS4, a PS3 exclusive has not only been rated the best game of all time, but got the most 10/10's?

Splinter>mgs4 forza>gt Halo, gears>well MAG i guess is the only real shooter oblivion>DS

@AMDGuy64 For starters splinter cell is multi platform, secong forza tanked and Gt isnt released yet. third halo has been out a year+ longer than everything else. MAG isnt released yet either and demon souls also came out 3 years after oblivion which is also multi platform.

numbers don't lie fool. Forza sold more copies alone than any PS3 game & its not even the best selling 360 game. Plus PS3 had an entire extra year for development yet they still fail. They have maybe 3 games worth trying, a terrible network not even worth my time. U will never convince me its not a horrible flawed junk, overpriced system. 360's die left & right yet i still rather own 1 over a PS3. Plus u lose hands down b/c i mostly game on PC which destroys both little kid consoles.

Looks good. I'm running it with a Q9550 with a 9800 GTX+ but with Win XP. It's real nice, but in the big open areas, my vid card taxes a little. Still an awesome game.
