Fine. Even still the slave days of Capoeira are murky, too murky to say in certainty rather Capoeira was dance or fight originally. I don’t buy that a slave owner would be dumb enough to see two people kicking each other and just because there doing an odd sway between attacks he would just brush it off as them dancing. Nor that it was purely a dance either. If that was the case gangs wouldn’t have found it the least bit useful to fight with in Brazil.

the "tekken style" name is CAPOEIRA, its from south america(normaly brazil)

and it dont really is a fight style, is originaly a dance created in the time of the slaves(they used the capoeira to have fun in the free times, but them they noticed that the dance could be used for protect each other, and them they started using the capoeira as a fight style... :D

The history of its origin or original look is murky all we seem to have is speculation at this time. The Capoeira now isn’t the same as the Capoeira 80 years ago nor is the Capoeira 80 years ago the same as the original. What history is still around about Capoeira shows it as a fighting style that only recently became more family friendly. But even now one shouldn’t take it lightly.
