  • Il bacio della coppia piu' bella ed elegante del cinema. George era di un fascino e di una dolcezza unici. George forever...................

  • love you audrey such natural beauty

  • I heard it broke Audrey's heart to abandon "Cat" during filming that last scene....

    Such a great ending!

  • I have seen enough interest in the melody. For those who want to know the name of the song: "Nuvole Bianche" by Ludovico Einaudi.

  • so romantic...i hope to have a moment like this one day :)

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • why would you change this scene? the original music made the scene and the whole movie for that matter....leave things alone...this sucks!

  • my favorite scene <3 ^_^

  • Beautiful! Perfect music choice! Added a brand new level of sweetness to an already sweet scene... This scene always makes me cry, lol. Funny thing is my mom cried at this scene too, but she was just sad about the cat getting lost in the rain, haha! :D

  • Song instrumental title please???

  • OMG! This cat looks like my first cat! I'll never forget her! Love this film so much!

  • what song is this? it's beautiful!

  • Check out the title right at the beggining of the song, it tell the writer and name of the song ;-)

  • @demonkwsn thank you :)

  • what is this song called? anyone know?

  • And I do feel the depiction of Mr. Yunioushi is extremely racist, and is an unfortunate stain on this movie, and on Blake Edwards' work.

I recall, before I actually watched Breakfast at Tiffany's, seeing that clip on Bruce Lee's biographical movie, and being pretty shocked about it. I do think that part was pretty racist back in 1961, however people of Asian descent were not an audience Holliwood was too cocerned about at the time

  • @Garudasofia **that is true but the rest of the movie is so wonderful**

  • I really liked the choice of tune. The original audio is also fantastic, and there are other clips on here with this scene and original audio. But this clip right here imprints this scene with new magic, and I appreciate that. It makes this approachable to people I know who might not relate culturally with the original movie.

  • @RichardElden - Good day to you. I am aware that Holly Golightly was a prostitute who seems to be without any values or positive human feelings. However, she clearly loved her brother and, in the end, she develops the ability to participate in a genuinely affectionate relationship with a man & rescues her previously "thrown away" cat. She becomes a real person. So, it appears we're just going to disagree here. Racist? I'm a civil rights activist who didn't see any. Peace to ALL.

  • The portrayal of Mr. Yunioshi is pretty offensive.....I just wonder if its possible that it was not offensive in 1961.

  • This is one of my favorite movies. This scene always makes me cry. I miss my cat I had when I was a young girl.

  • haha wuts dat cat doin in da middle huh!totally disturbin the kis,,she and her cat.oh i loved this movie.decent.

  • What a worderful woman!

  • why not play the actual(real) music from the movie?

  • Que hermosa Melodia!

    (I like this melody)

  • the cat was like rely squished when they embraced... poor cat. But lovely scene :)

  • I got a little confession to make. I had this whole final scene kinda staged up a month ago. WIthoutt knowing about the movie or the book. I had a very similar situation with a girl I love. Thinking it was to dramatic I did not perform a speech like Paul did. Of course I had the ending like the book but I wonder now (she is a big fan of the movie and the book) Was she expecting it? Did she know that I was thinking about that kind of speech? Am I seeing shit is not there? Should I have said it?:S

  • Film indimenticabile con attori indimenticabili.

    brava!!!

  • that is a very lucky cat ;)

  • this so sweet ending xD i never get bored looping this over n over again haha

  • What's this song called?

  • Yo! The song is called Nuvole Bianche by Ludovico Einaudi =D

    Cheers!

  • Einaudi- Nuvole Bianche

  • I like the music, who is the compositor plus. The one who is the author of the song.

    Muchas gracias.

  • I like the music... but the sound of their voices underneath your piano music would have been better.

  • @SueBurg22 The one who is the author of the song, plus, very zankiu

  • There`s a remake of this scene on a Gossip Girl episode :9

  • I loved the fact that she named her cat Cat...if I have a dog, I will name him Dog...at her honour...

  • what a masterpiece....so sad that hollywood forget how to make this kind of masterpieces

  • The amazing thing about this scene is his love. Up to now she'd been horrible to him and he should've given up and seen she couldn't love. There she is deperatly looking for Cat, finally showing she does truly love. She's not perfect. She holds cat in her arms and at 2:10 looks at him like, "Well, this is me, i can't anymore. Will you have us?"

    he takes them <3

  • my idea of a perfect woman is still her... Audrey Hepburn....

  • this star was not afraid to get her hair wet. This is a classic

  • awwwwwwwwww.........the music made it even more momentous...great choice!

  • Non ci potrà mai più essere una scena finale di film più bella di questa per dolcezza, bravura e bellezza degli attori. George e Audrey sono stati UNICIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!

  • Excellent comprehension of this film with the choice of music. The music was beautfiul just like the film and actors in it!

  • I can watch it 100s times still love it

  • i always thought: oh noooo poor catt :(

  • What's the name of the song?

  • lol, the cat was manwiched

  • i cry, so cruel to the cat

  • george peppard is beautiful :)

  • I'm sorry, I don't understand "This is my first video by me" - did you film it? back in 1961? & why change the soundtrack? didn't you like it?

  • GREAT MUSIC ! !

  • Hm, the song is by someone named Ludovico.... anybody else get the reference? ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @xX0PinkSugar0Xx Actually I was joking about how in A Clockwork Orange the treatment is called the Ludovico Technique

  • ich bin total verliebt in einen Katzenhasser.

  • Ver al gato en la escena final, es digno de admirarse

  • BAD MUSIC!!

  • gran actuacion del gato!!!

  • That just made me cry so bad lol...

I love those classics... No swearing, shaking asses, explicity... just pure beauty.

  • @xCandyMeat - SO right you are. I'm grateful for the availability of classic movies on DVD so my children can see not all movies are filled with the "F" word and movie stars appeared in great movies with all their clothes on. Best Wishes to You.

  • not that this music isn't nice... it IS nice, but Moon River was perfect where it was. Why replace it?

  • Tutti vorrebbero vivere una storia d'amore cosi! Grandi interpreti.

  • Lost liked tears in rain....Nikolaj

  • this ending destroys the feeling of the book and the amazing idiocracy capote gave to holly golightly....

they should just stick with the booksending.

audrey hepburn is nevertheless simply amazing

  • they cant have a remake! no way! im 21, and i appreciate audrey hepburn films as true classics. hollywood probably just are bored and want to make tons of cash by putting some well known acctress with no character in it. no one could ever top audrey!

  • @Readalwaysthelabel

I completly agree with you 100 per cent

films post 1980s have gotten owrse not better

but please do not remake a true classic

i watch this film at least twice a week :-)

  • Grrrr don't tell me there's talk about a remake... nooooo! Why don't the younger generation learn to appreciate classics, in which actors are sublime and not hindered by special effects.

I can just imagine this movie with Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake on a gangster rap soundtrack... yep a real winner...yeachhh

  • Nice, Huh?

  • Nice, Huh?

  • i cried when she put the cat in the rain too ..

  • his hair stays perfect? even in the rain??

  • @davidh0187dc well they put grease in their hair back then...

  • Both my daughters are getting married this summer, 10 weeks part. Breakfast At Tiffany's is the theme of their dual bridal shower- ladies are invited to arrive dressed like Holly Golightly. I ordered dessert petifours like little Tiffany blue boxes, should be fun but I'm persoanlly waiting for my George Pepard look a like to arrive. Both my girls know that Moonriver will be played at my funeral. Natalie, you've done a great job on this video and music selection.

  • which is the name of the song??

    its beautiful^^

  • george peppard was an awesome young man....

  • really? why? :D

  • @FrankClanton

hepburn was not at all talentless

    she was a true great

  • ohhh my god, this ending sucks so hard!

the ending in the book - unlike this one- is epic.

  • nice vid congrats

    greetings from greece

  • Why do you think it is racist?

Audrey was European, that is why she is so pretty. It is the type of a Frech woman, which are the prettier and most sofythisticated in the world.

  • Such a grand film

  • I cried when she pushed the cat out of the taxi into the rain. :(

  • In the book the end is quite different ... I refuse to spoil it for you - but the Capote novel is a modern masterpiece ... I saw the movie first, my late wife had the book, which I read in a day ... the reread for a week ..

Your video is excellent, it captures the impossibly fragile 'chic' Holly, - a total contrast to her regular job ... and the macho (almost 'Philip Marlow' type of character) George Peppard plays ...

  • @MoshiPetit me too... i was like "noooo, dont do it!!!!!"

  • @MoshiPetit

I am the same that cat I love him I never fail to cr y every time I watch it when come to the cat I cry and cr y can't help it

  • @MoshiPetit me too

  • Can somebody tell me what the music is?

  • im so happy she found the cat!

  • Oh the poor cat...lol!

  • ohhh no... no remake... this is a classical movie...

nobody could do anything funny, heartbreaking and just very good old classic... this is timeless...

I just can't understand why movie producers always have to do remakes of everything...

I just love this movie... and Audrey Hepburn is one of the most beautiful actresses I have ever seen!!!

  • @steviesgirl33 Audrey Hepburn wasn't just one of the best looking actresses of alltime she was the most beautiful woman of alltime!!!! She was absolute perfection.

  • very nice movie, i hope they make a remake of this film!

  • It have that racist thing, but never really cared about that. Those who does, must need to get a life.

  • What is the music?

  • This is my favorite part of the movie. I love George Peppard & Audrey Hepburn. Best looking movie stars ever!!! What a handsome man! Thanks for uploading this precious movie.

  • @ 0:25& 2:09 George Peppard took my breath away~~~~~ What a gorgeous man!

  • When i was a baby she was doing an appearance for UNICEF in London and my mother being a big fan went to see her, Audrey held me and gave me a kiss on the head. I get annoyed because i can't remember i was only a baby but i have a picture of my mother me and her altogether with a signature from her.

  • Thats really cool =)

  • thats so awesome... I had met Luciano Pavarotti many years ago and he pat my head, its one of those things that you don't forget... I'm happy you have a photo to capture the moment!!

  • @PeterFirthFan

FUCK OFF no one wants you one here or your shitty comments

  • Great job. This music fits better the scene than the original soundtrack ! It actually conveys more of the feelings involved... And what is amazing is that it is perfectly sync with the scene !!!

    Wonderful.

  • thank you olallier... that is my opinion exactly

    Laken

  • Moon River

  • k thanks!

  • i love the ending!!!! very moving!!! can uplease uload the scene right before...where paul tells her off....." you know whats wrong with you ms who ever you are!!!"

  • Audrey was so beautiful and elegant. Anytime you judge a film or it's characters you always have to remember the time period it was made in....much different world than today.

  • it calls Breakfast at tiffany's because holly said if she would be sad she goes for a breakfast at Tiffany's and then she knows everything will be alright. Sorry about my English.

  • anybody know why it was called "Breakfast at Tiffany's"?

  • 'cause she was eating a danish at the beginning of the movie window shopping at tiffany's?

    lol, i really don't know, [x

  • hey. this is really amazing.

what is the music called and who by? I really want the sheet music!!

  • i agree chopin. i finished reading the book 2 nights ago and i must say the storyline is kind of diferent. i do like the way the movie ends more, although with books the feeling u get almost feels more real, because its your own interpretation, without the aid of visual screenplay. all in all an amazing story in general.

  • This song is amazing! Great job!

  • well done

  • 古きよきハリウッドの到達点でするね。

    このころが頂点。

  • how so?

  • Mickey Rooney's portrayal of an Asian man is very offensive.

  • Yes Mickey Rooney is offensive, his character should never have been in the film and the production team has acknowledged this.

But the character he played isn't involved in the plot at all, he's so peripheral that he could be edited out if necessary. We shouldn't let one poorly-judged character ruin the rest of the film.

He's only on screen for maybe a couple of minutes in total, he can't have more than about five or ten lines. Holly's cat plays a much more important role than Mickey Rooney.

  • why

  • you're just being jealours...

    Audrey is amazing!!

  • Wonderful piano...just wonderful.

  • a long gone classic time and place that never will be repeated

  • Comment removed

  • Please, shoot the piano player!!!

  • Aww sooo cute and beautiful. Lol the cat in the trench coat XD
