Here is the real suit, worn by Weller in Robo2. I am probably never going to sell it - its film history! But I do have two of the cop uniforms (with the ocp logos) I am looking to sell. These were for the woman who played Estavez in RC2
Hello! Friend, this is the RoboCop of Hot Toys? I live in Brazil, but I have cousins who live in London, England. I want to ask them to buy this one for me and some other dolls. Did you know and tell me where to find a good shop that has this Robocop and other action figures in London or a city near London? I would be very grateful my friend! Hug!
I heard these had some paint imperfections from a guy although I don't know if they are part of the sculpt (like battle damage). He said there was some near the gun holster and that the gun holster isn't painted properly - lacking black paint in parts. Is yours like this or is his really defective? Cheers Peter.
probly have to get it in Japan since Sideshow Collectibles site dont have it and its probly gonna be the same size as robo cop or maybe just a bit bigger
That would be amazing! Going back to your review, I agree with you that the paint job on this PF is more accurate than the Hot Toys version. The PF is a representation of Robo from the 1st movie, where the suit was mainly silver with slight bluish/purple tints. The suit from Robocop2 was much bluer and glossier.
I have both figures and they share the same satin silver paintwork and look very similar, the PF is marginally taller and obviously finished to a better standard, I'm not nocking the Neca model, they are great value money, in fact I have quite a few modesl by Neca and McFarlane. Kev
sounds like u think the hot toys is better - I'm still in two minds whether to get this... might hold off for a while. I actually watched Robocop again lat night and he does have a 'mat' finish to his armour and in the 'making of' section to the DVD they said they oiled him up to get some light reflection. Nice review and thanx for posting it. Keep an eye out for my iron man 1:1 bust review coming in a few days (when it's supposed to arrive).
Cheers Knightslade, I've had most of these figures for some time now, so it's nothing new, but I'm just topping up my video library.....still waiting for Iron Man!
nice video.great camera remote control.

great statue - the mouth is spot on in my opinion.
The gun in the leg is a great detail and i would pose it like you show with it open.
Great review.

@sniperNolight Thanks glad you liked it :)

Robocop's finish is not shinny in the first film, but if you watch Robocop 2 he's really shinny with a touch of pearl.

The NECA looks way better and it costs so much less.
It would be amazing if NECA used the same material.

This is not the Hot Toys version it is made by Sideshow Collectibles.
Both versions however are now sold out, your best bet is ebay.
Good luck :-)

It's the first I've heard of any problems, mine seems to be painted very well, no missing paint from what I can see.

This is one of the best figure reviews on YouTube. Very well done.
It would be interesting to see a side-by-side comparison of this figure and NECA's 18 inch RoboCop.

Hi there... nice figure and great review...
5 stars...
However, i am getting quite worry of you doing these review on the sofa bro...
so worry that one day you might accidentally drop the figure while turning/ handling them......etc
I would feel so much more safer if you might consider having the figure placed on a small 'tv dinner" table during review...etc.
=8- )
zinc7373 3 years ago
I see your point, I'll be extra carefull Zinc.
I film in this area because it's the best sauce of natural light, which means you get less grain in the film.
Thanks for the comments :-)

I've seen the Hot Toys version up close and it's pretty awesome but I bought this version because I'm more into the larger 1:4 scale figures.
My Iron Man is now due at the end of this month, I won't hold my breath, it's been delayed soooo many times.
