  • nice video.great camera remote control.

  • great statue - the mouth is spot on in my opinion.

The gun in the leg is a great detail and i would pose it like you show with it open.

    Great review.

  • @sniperNolight Thanks glad you liked it :)

  • Robocop's finish is not shinny in the first film, but if you watch Robocop 2 he's really shinny with a touch of pearl.

  • Here is the real suit, worn by Weller in Robo2. I am probably never going to sell it - its film history! But I do have two of the cop uniforms (with the ocp logos) I am looking to sell. These were for the woman who played Estavez in RC2

You can check out the suit here

  • the proportions on the figure seem a little off on this figure, i mean it looks nice and all but i prefer the neca version

  • @SERIOUS4X4 I used to own the Neca version, and you're right it is very accurate.

  • Probably ebay is your best bet - good luck

  • where can i fine a toy like that now days

  • The NECA looks way better and it costs so much less.

It would be amazing if NECA used the same material.

  • @boamuro I used to own the Neca figure, it is a nice piece.

  • @RobotOnLine I just bought the Neca one for $85 at a little collectable shop here in Melbourne. Love it. If only it had the gun in the leg feature...

  • I Bought him because of your review also and the 2 Terminators lol

  • @johnnyr2525

He's getting harder to find these days, well done for picking one...ENJOY!

  • Hello! Friend, this is the RoboCop of Hot Toys? I live in Brazil, but I have cousins who live in London, England. I want to ask them to buy this one for me and some other dolls. Did you know and tell me where to find a good shop that has this Robocop and other action figures in London or a city near London? I would be very grateful my friend! Hug!

  • @soubadboy666

This is not the Hot Toys version it is made by Sideshow Collectibles.

Both versions however are now sold out, your best bet is ebay.

    Good luck :-)

  • Thanks for your cooperation!

  • I heard these had some paint imperfections from a guy although I don't know if they are part of the sculpt (like battle damage). He said there was some near the gun holster and that the gun holster isn't painted properly - lacking black paint in parts. Is yours like this or is his really defective? Cheers Peter.

  • @daliman11

It's the first I've heard of any problems, mine seems to be painted very well, no missing paint from what I can see.

  • Really like this one,and love the film=)

  • It's a classic film, Sideshow did a neat job, thanks.

  • What was the price?

  • I think around £170

  • @RobotOnLine

Ohh wow! Sounds like it must be a passion for you to spend that kind of money on it! I love collectibles but its an expensive hobby!

  • does the helmet remove?

  • That would have been nice but unfortunately no it doesn't come off.

  • @RobotOnLine

    Ahhhh

Yes the facial detail would have been cool.

Still a very cool item for sure!

    :P

  • Sideshow produce some great pieces :)

  • Yeah they do and they seem to be getting better with each new piece.

    Thanks

  • AT 1.05 look at the arms yh the left is thinner than right arm the right 1 is alot fatter

  • probly have to get it in Japan since Sideshow Collectibles site dont have it and its probly gonna be the same size as robo cop or maybe just a bit bigger

  • i wish theres a Decade and Diend life size toy like this robo-cop 1

  • A life size figure would be cool :-)

  • Excellent review my dear friend! I just ordered mine, freaking hot deal 99£

  • i'm going to try to get this even though i'm a kid i collect things like this so i'm going to try to get this amazing piece! great review 5/5 stars!

  • Ebay is your best bet, good luck.

    Thanks for the comments.

  • how much did that toy cost him ?

  • He was about £170

  • wow and i though the Joker hot toys was expensive

  • Great review. I'm waiting for the day Cinemaquette will do a 1/3 Robocop.

  • Yes that would be cool....or maybe a life-size bust with removable head sheild!!

    Thanks for you comments.

  • That would be amazing! Going back to your review, I agree with you that the paint job on this PF is more accurate than the Hot Toys version. The PF is a representation of Robo from the 1st movie, where the suit was mainly silver with slight bluish/purple tints. The suit from Robocop2 was much bluer and glossier.

  • This is one of the best figure reviews on YouTube. Very well done.

It would be interesting to see a side-by-side comparison of this figure and NECA's 18 inch RoboCop.

  • Thanks for the comments.

I have both figures and they share the same satin silver paintwork and look very similar, the PF is marginally taller and obviously finished to a better standard, I'm not nocking the Neca model, they are great value money, in fact I have quite a few modesl by Neca and McFarlane. Kev

  • Hi there... nice figure and great review...

    5 stars...

However, i am getting quite worry of you doing these review on the sofa bro...

so worry that one day you might accidentally drop the figure while turning/ handling them......etc

I would feel so much more safer if you might consider having the figure placed on a small 'tv dinner" table during review...etc.

    =8- )

  • I see your point, I'll be extra carefull Zinc.

I film in this area because it's the best sauce of natural light, which means you get less grain in the film.

    Thanks for the comments :-)

  • Awesome figure m8 !

    "I,ll buy that for a dollar !"

  • Oooh I felt that when you hit the cabinet 01:21. Lol

    Great review.

  • 1.23 actually, well spotted, If that ting was a finger off a premium format I would have been gutted, thank god it was just the cabinet :-)

  • wow sweet pf

robocop is a legend of a movie!!

  • If only sideshow would make a life size bust....with removable head sheild.

    Cheers Kungfoolai

  • yeah that would be awesome

    peace man

  • sounds like u think the hot toys is better - I'm still in two minds whether to get this... might hold off for a while. I actually watched Robocop again lat night and he does have a 'mat' finish to his armour and in the 'making of' section to the DVD they said they oiled him up to get some light reflection. Nice review and thanx for posting it. Keep an eye out for my iron man 1:1 bust review coming in a few days (when it's supposed to arrive).

  • I've seen the Hot Toys version up close and it's pretty awesome but I bought this version because I'm more into the larger 1:4 scale figures.

My Iron Man is now due at the end of this month, I won't hold my breath, it's been delayed soooo many times.

  • What iron man are u getting???

  • Life size bust

  • Thanks, I really want to get the Hot Toys version, he'd look cool next to my ED209

  • great review man.

    love the robocop pf.

    enjoy him man.

  • Cheers Knightslade, I've had most of these figures for some time now, so it's nothing new, but I'm just topping up my video library.....still waiting for Iron Man!

Have you got anything in the pipeline?

  • I have goku medicom comming soon and IRON MAN HT in march all from sideshow.

  • AWESOME piece dude

  • Cheers Viking, just need the Hot Toys version now.

  • great review Kev, awesome figure!

  • Thanks Keith, it's an old piece now but worth getting.
