  • One of fave rides is going down to Sammy's :-)

  • By 'This bike' I mean the Verdel.

  • The Verdel is supercool, I love the downwards pointing cylinder :-) Anth.

  • This bike along with the 'Packer' is a Fake, made by a talented maintainance engineer in Clitheroe, Lancashire and sold as such to Sammy Miller.

  • That's one of my favourite bikes down there :-) Anth.

  • That AJS Porcupine at 1:13 is the bike that won the very first world championship in 1949 I I believe !! Awesome !!

  • They do run it up sometimes but sadly I've always missed it, would make a good vid. Cheers, Anth :-)

  • We're hoping to ride down again next weekend if it's dry :-) Anth.

  • that was a great video what was the JAP thing with the exhaust next to the wheel?

  • It must be a sprint bike, did you notice the super-charger in front of the engine and the lack of front brake? Anth :-)

  • yeah looks dangerous/fun :)

  • Check out the Verdel, it's got a push bike caliper brake on the front and nothing on the back and the Packer has no brakes at all - scary :-)

  • we have an excelsior 150 and the best brakes on that are the engine brakes, but i doubt that would go anywhere near as fast as them
