  • this stuff saved our family dog. Stupid little lap-rat eats non things that he shouldn't- like coins. Before we took him to the vet (AGAIN) to have surgery done, I suggested my mom gave him some. Problem solved, without surgery!

  • I use it in my hair and add it to my lotions.

  • I'm a massage therapist and I let my clients choose what oil and lotion they want me to use on them and so many go for the coconut oil because of the way it smells and feels, it works very well for massage :)

  • my grandpa does dat and everybody from my moms side makes everythin out of coconut milk

  • @tropical......With the growing demands for your product I hope you wont change the traditional ways o f making it just to cope with the demands.......We the consumers would know the difference so please dont change it ......

  • @mantis365 Our Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is the only brand on the market that is not mass produced by machine. We value the time honored traditional way it is produced by hand on small family farms and have no plans to change it. Thanks for your comment!

  • In your website, there is a certified & non Certified Organic. What's the difference? ~thanks

  • @itoako61 The non-certified has not been certified USDA organic, however these coconuts are collected for unpolluted areas and it is very rare to use chemicals in their production. More info in our FAQ on our site. Thanks!

  • OK.. you got me... Where can I buy it here in NY or NJ?

I can buy some type of coconut oil in Filipino stores here in US, but I want to try Tropical Tradition. I don't remember seeing your brand there. I like the way your oil is manually processed. One of my relative used to do it manually too & it's great.

  • @itoako61 You can go to our site to see if there is a retail location near you or you can simply order directly from our site for delivery to your door! Thanks!

  • I love virgin coconut oil. I cook with it alot.

  • Awesome!!!

  • When I was in the Philippines, we always get coconut milk the traditional way. I love young coconut meat and coconut water (juice) from young coconuts :)

  • GREAT INTEGRITY GUYS

    GOD BLESS

  • I saw my doctor yesterday and he prescribed it after using it himself. They have found in a small study it literally reverses the effects of Alzheimer's disease!!! He prescribed it to me for weight loss - I haven't started it yet, a little worried about it being hard on my stomach, but eager to try it!!!!!

  • @TypesALot Please feel free to browse our recipe videos here or visit our Free Coconut Recipes blog to find recipes using coconut oil if you are concerned with your stomach not tolerating the oil taking it straight.

  • @TropicalTraditions - Thank you so much!! I saw a recipe for putting it in coffee, and gave it a shot. So far, so good. My doctor was insistent that I use it with food. He said he stumbled upon the weight loss benefits, etc. after he was takig it for Alzheimer's prevention. What a little miracle it is! In fact, he was only about 3 minutes into our visit and started talking about it - and he's a internist!! If used daily, how long does it take to start reaping all of its benefits?

  • @TypesALot Individual results are going to vary widely. Glad to hear you are enjoying the recipes and hope you find you'll enjoy introducing this nutritious oil into your diet!

  • i love coconut oil for my natural hair

  • great video

  • A freind told me about the benefits of coconut oil, Coconut has always been my fave flavor so I found your website and have been ordering for years... I love it! I have the soap, massage oil, body lotion, peanut butter, and virgin oil

  • your coconut oil is awesome, it tastes so creamy and smooth! Thank You for providing such a great product, Coconut Oil tastes so good in my coffee in the morning!

  • I enjoy cooking with coconut oil. But I also enjoy cooking with the coconut milk and drinking the coconut water.Do you discard the coconut water? If so I would suggest that you guys bottle it and sell it.

  • @wooki53 We use the water in the production of the oil since we use the traditional way of fermentation. The fresh coconut meat is shredded (wet milled), and then cold-pressed using the water from inside the coconuts to make coconut milk. The milk is then allowed to sit for about half a day, while the oil naturally separates from the heavier water. The oil is then filtered from the curds (coconut solids).

  • i love your coconut oil!!!!! thanks

  • @theMeditationStation Thank you!

  • I recently learned about the benefits of coconut oil and I'm intrigued. Do they sell Tropical Traditions in the Supermarket? I found another positive article about Coconut Oil at HealthCoachRoss.

  • @riotruthnl Wow this video is fascinating I wondered how coconut oil was made it is nice to see people are still using the natural way of making things

  • Virgin Philippines Coconut Oil Was A Major Export To The US Up Until World War II and The Japanese Occupation. It Would Be More Accurate and Germane If You Were To Say "Rediscover and Import".

Great Work With Bringing Such A Fabulous Product Back To The US Market! ;-)

  • i want to get the gold label or the green label to take internally, but not externally. can i get the same benefit with the expeller pressed coconut oil for my hair and body?

  • @BEAUTIFULHAIR3 Our expeller pressed coconut oil will offer similar conditioning benefits without the coconut scent. Our Gold Label Virgin Coconut Hair Treatment offers a nice coconut aroma. Please visit our website and learn more about the different coconut oils we offer (click on our FAQ page).

  • that oil is the best!

  • Virgin coconut oil is the only oil my family used to cook when I was growing up back in the Dominican Republic. We ate all kind of food; rice, seafood, etc and never gained weight. I guess the Coconut oil keep you healthy. Our hair grew faster and the skin didn't age to much in my oldest folks. Coconut oil is wonderful and tastes good, too.

  • whats the diffrence between coconut oil and virgin cocunut oil??

  • @superbutter6 Please visit our website and learn all about the differences? Click on FAQ.

  • BBBBlessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss you for not going greedy

  • i would love to have the Antioxident Natural Greens and the Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. i use coconut oil to loose weight, and it helps my arthritious.

  • So - do you also market all the milk or is it going to waste? It seems you could literally process the entire coconut for retail, not just the oil, and still be delivering to us a product far superior to what we find in stores; the milk, the meat, and the oil!

This may have already been asked, I'm sorry if it was, I looked for the answer.

  • @RosieFbxAk The coconut "milk" contains the oil. So when the oil is removed, the "milk" no longer exists. We do sell the "meat" in the form of coconut flour.

  • @TropicalTraditions OOhhhh - I guess I hadn't thought that through! I've never heard of coconut flour - that must be wonderful! Well I'm very glad you exist and that people like yourselves - give up factory version, mass production to maintain the integrity of the products! Kudos!

  • I do believe on that because I've tried it already and it's was great. This is the best coconut oil i've ever use in my entire life. Try it and I'm sure you'll agree with me.

  • So the non-expeller pressed, completely hand made version is the one that still has the scent and taste? Because I've had our local grocery store special order it but it's like pulling teeth and I'd rather have a better quality. I can't stand the common one I see on shelves at the grocery store it's like a yellow-ish color has no odor so it's like eating castor oil blech. The virgin is fluffy white and smells so delicious and tastes it too.

  • @pfotojenik Yes, you want the Virgin Coconut Oil. Get the Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil directly from the Tropical Traditions website and have it delivered. A lot of bloggers also give it away via contests. Follow us on Twitter or become a fan on Facebook.

  • @TropicalTraditions Thank you :)

  • okay was was the oil white when it got smashed. was that cocunut juice or milk? Oil suppost to be clear.

  • @kambridge967 That was coconut milk.

  • I'm sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I love to eat coconut by itself. However, I hate the taste of it in my food. Does your machine processed coconut oil have less of a coconut taste? Because I'm really interested in frying with it for health reason and don't want a coconut flavor.

  • @iroc31407 Yes, the Expeller-pressed coconut oil is deodorized and has a bland flavor.

  • @iroc31407 Yes, the Expeller-pressed coconut oil is deodorized and has a bland taste.

  • I use coconut oil for my hair. and i use coconut milk for cooking. i use all these also if i get sting by jellyfish.

    with their packing. Excellent

    customer service a great company.

  • Excellent products, ever since I have been on this website, I started using variety of products apart from just virgin coconut oil..keep it going guys

  • i love you guy's coconut oil! I love it in my hair ...and cooking my pancakes in it! :)

  • I really do enjoy virgin coconut oil.

  • I tried Spectrum and its ok but I LOVE THIS BRAND-I have the coconut cream also

  • coconut oil is the best oil to cook with.polyunsaturated fats, which include common vegetable oils such as corn, soy, safflower, sunflower and canola, are absolutely the worst oils. These omega-6 oils are highly susceptible to heat damage because of all the double bonds they have. There is only one oil that is stable enough to resist heat-induced damage and is coconut oil. Just dont over use it ;)

  • coconut oil is really good for the hair too. Use it as a conditioner and it will make your hair really shiny. If you are going to use it in food try using it with adobo. Someone i knew made it with adobo and it tasted really good. The real natural coconut oil will freeze when its cold and oily when its hot.

  • very excited to try your brand!

  • can this be use to cook any kind of food?

  • Yes!

  • Yes, Absolutely. I've used it on everything from eggs to toast or potatoes, it makes great fudge with organic cacao & organic agave syrup or stevia plant natural sweetner. It cleans out your heart & arteries, it removes goo & gum like price stickers, it is great for your face, kills parasites, has the highest flash point of all oils, is great for you even cures ring worm & ezema, a real miracle substance that is yummy, organic, healthy, useful, long lasting, pure, maintains its integrity.

  • im philippine PINOY PRIDE

  • I've been using this oil for years now and there is nothing else that comes close to it in my opinion - it has such a lovely fresh coconut smell and taste. Really enjoyed seeing the video of how it was made. It's rare these days to find such a good handmade artisan product generally available. Thank you for making such a natural product available - keep up the good work Brian...
