This is no japanese at all. Romaji is being used for writing japanese in western symbols and it's often not accurate.
Yoko Kanno often uses Russian and fantasy languages by the way (and there is the romor that the name gabriela robin is just a synonym for yoko kanno when she is also singing not just composing songs)
@Bluesummers1296 Woh language....And yes...she does sing or at least allegedly does. In the 2009 concert with the Seatbelts, she turned around and sang to the crowd. She sang Moon. Either she's good at impersonations or she's really Gabriela Robin and is using her as an alias.

Just so you people really stop the whole "It gibberish" It's called Romanji in Japanese... I know this how? Cause you can actually put it through a translator. If it was Gibberish you would not be able to translate it.
Sorry that's just what it said on her Sights that's all I'm guessing then that the lyrics are Russian and Romanian. Since they're put in both versions of spelling.
@Togusa Rōmaji is just latin letters for japanese words. It is not a language, but a style of writing. While i do not know if the text is japanese, Rōmaji IS japanese. Source: wikipedia/Romaji
@PanicAtTheOscars We were off that topic a lonnnnggg time ago and went to debating spelling. Japanese Phonetical spelling of the word that is. It could be the older generation knows it with an n.
Also, interestingly, this song actually has a short set of lyrics in the CD insert. It's not the actual ones, it's a few lines of Japanese (probably a translation), but I can translate it into English for you if you want.
It's not Romanian, nor is it called Romanji - it's Romaji.
Romaji is Japanese written with normal characters, like the letters I'm typing now. Simpler put, written without their language's specific symbols - kanji, hiragana, katakana.
I don't know in what language this song is sung; it's either Gibberish or Esperanto or *insert correct answer*. But of one thing I'm sure: It's not Romanian. I should know, I'm Romanian. ^^
I am given to understand that there are three types of written Japanese language. Poetic (used here), technical (for written instructions) and the normal everyday used language. Is this correct?
@Togusa it actually sounds liek esperanto, I dont speak it myself but i hear it quite often. if i remember correctly, yoko speaks esperanto too and used it in some of her osngs before
@KOGR11 Yoko Kanno is known for making up her own languages too. She blends a lot of languages together too. I wouldn't be surprised if someone asked what this was and she replied back with "Latin mixed with Russian and a little French" (Just an example.) Though she never tells her secrets.
@Togusa I'm pretty sure spric01 is correct. If you listen to Gablish Language songs such as those from (Gabriela Robin) they sound much more Latin based in their words. This particular song has more words which sound much more Spanish like (see 3:01), hence it's more likely to be Esperanto; which sounds a lot like this song. Someone should really email Yoko Kanno's production company though to find out for sure.

Yeh man, thats a deep episode. when the girlfriend (before attacking him) talks about having Pazu's ghost in him, is that because the had sex twice. Like he really loved her, and gave him self to her more so than most over women he does it with ? :S
I'm not really sure, but I've just posted the lyrics to this song and a translation that I found from a website. I've tried putting the lyrics through google translator and it says it's Esperanto. Although I wouldn't fully trust that translator.
The lyrics aren't Esperanto - it's probably telling you that because someone transliterated the lyrics phonetically, and Esperanto sticks a lot closer to phonetic spelling than natural languages. The lyrics are complete gibberish - a good rule of thumb is that if it's Gabriela Robin singing, and you can't tell instantly what the lyrics are, then it's not a real language.
Incidentally, I also transliterated and learned to sing this piece - even though it's nonsense, it's still so beautiful! :)
its basically gibberish...much like cirque du soleil does its a made up language it keeps the mystery inside of the music but yeah you will hear actual words from manhy differently languages though
As someone who likes to create his own languages, I find your comment ignorant. Something is not "jibberish" simply because it's not commonly spoken. If the person who created it put real thought and care into making a language, it is an "actual" language like any other. Technically speaking, it can be said that Gabriella Robin isn't a real person. It is ***RUMURED*** that She is actually Yoko Kanno because she only appeared after Yoko worked with someone who WAS using an alias for her work. So it's kind of hard to say She's deffinatly Italian for sure.

Yoko Makes up her own languages for a lot of her music. Look at Moon and Torukia lol

That still doesn't main that's the language sang in for the song. Romanji isn't really a language and I know it's not Japanese.
"Gibberish" can be translated. The writer could make it up and translate it in a way he/she wishes it to be.

The translator though was processed by rosetta stone. Also if you go to Yoko Kanno's and Orgia's main page they tell you the languages that she uses.
